Saas Almagell lies in Switzerland and is a wonderful village in the Wallis and Saas Valley, surrounded by impressive four-thousand-metre peaks of the Valais Alps.
The village lies at the very back of the Saas Valley and is the smallest of the four Saas Valley villages (Saas-Fee, Saas-Grund and Saas-Balen). The village is located at 1670 m above sea level.
Saas Almagell is the home village of Swiss skiing legend Primin Zurbriggen, who is one of the most successful ski racers of all time.

The mountains in Switzerland are beautiful, and the rivers, towns, and villages at their base are really lovely!👏👌🙏💓 The buildings, especially those made of wood and stone, are wonderful and look very old. The scenery looks like something out of a novel.👍👍👍✨✨😎

Thank you Serge! Yes, you are right! In winter time it looks completely different :-) It's the home of Swiss ski star Pirmin Zurbriggen. Maybe you know him? He was very successful in the 1980s.
