@@razamughal4582 According to Islam it is the duty of the children to take care of the parents. If the daughter in law doesn't want to take care of her in laws there is no sin upon her. But if she does she will be rewarded. If the in laws live together from the beginning of the marriage most likely there will be bitterness and this will lead to more issues. Instead, if they choose to stay away and give the couple their space eventually if and when the need arises the chances of daughter in law willing to take care of her in laws is more. It is WRONG to make it obligatory on the daughter in law especially when she is not willing as they do in the subcontinent and it is not in accordance with Islam. What if the parents don't have any sons and only daughters. Then, the son in law should be willing to take in his in laws and the daughter can take care of the parents.

@@appu1sundaram Its not the duty of the daughter in law or the daughter. If the couple have no sons then they should rely on their siblings. Namely the brothers. This is the whole point of islam encouraging lots of children, so you have lots of siblings, lots of sons and lots of daughters. Children have been ordered to give ‘kind treatment’ to their parents. The responsibility falls solely on the son. In todays day and age if there is no son and the daughter wants to do what she can, all well and good. If she does not want to, then no one can make her. 1) a son will inherit twice the amount his sister will get because the financial responsibility is on him. The woman does not need to spend a penny. 2) the daughter will be sinning if anything she does causes any type of neglect to her husband and her children 3) the husband has full authority over not letting someone into his home who he does like. That includes the wives parents. What he can’t do is preventing the wife from meeting her parents.

You raised a good point here. But unfortunately advocate is ignoring it very conveniently. All his videos are preaching to live separately after marriage. And none of his videos are abt how to deal with issues created by bahu. He never teaches how to bring balance. He just states leave ur parents and stay separately. He seems to hv forgotten the mention and warning given by Allah in Quran itself abt hw to take care of waalidain. No other relation is given as much as impotance of waalidain in Quran. Let's teach sabar n what is taught in Quran. Pls dnt teach the youth to part from parents after marriage
