You should be practicing hovering in all orientations. Nose Left,Nose Right, Nose In, Tail In. Hovering in all orientations is a very important building block of getting better at flying helis. Good luck!🎉

I second that. I flew for years and never actually properly practiced orientation or recovery. I took a good long break from flying and now that I'm getting back into it, I'm actually trying to improve

You should check the voltage per cell. One it helps you to check the health of individual cells. If one drops too much it can damage the overall pack and even go into thermal that is a fire. Second you should shoot for around 3.85v per cell which is around 50%. That is known as “storage charge” and is where the batteries are happiest. It’s bad to over discharge them too low but also keeping them charged. The farther away in any direction from center is exponentially bad for the battery for extended periods of time. Cheers! Btw doing great keep going

Hi thanks for the battery info, I must admit I am bad at leaving my batteries charged

Hello, I subbed a few days ago. I enjoy watching your progress. Can you tell me what the name of that Radio Tray you use for the NX10 you have is please? Thank you...

Hi its made by a company called secraft they are available in red or black,i think they are for the dx9 but fits just fine, thankyou for watching. cheers

Thank you. I was able to pause in one spot, and grabbed the name. But I appreciate the response. I'm seriously considering one. I found that the one for the TX you have, also fits these others. NX6 NX8 NX10 NX20 DX6 DX9. Apparently they make these for some DJI controllers, and they extend into making aluminum precision servo arms, and gimbal sticks.

Great! Really silent with 6s. I don´t like any setup with more than 6s lol - it is a flying bomb with 12s and i would prefer to nitro 🙂

hi yeah its better than i thought it would be, i dont need huge head speed for the flying i do,and now i get 2 flights for same amount of batteries, thanks for watching!

This............. is an excellent result indeed but you are not flying it. My advice is continue to fly this drake - a lot and, progress to where you want to be pal. Just hovering about a 5000mah battery will last eons!!!! - 7/8 minutes at that sort of headspeed hovering easy.. Remember 'normal sport flying with a tad of 3d which is where you want to be, is going to be needing a whole lot more power than 6S. Hovering like this is not even pushing the battery in any way. Also, you will need to 'fly' this not just hovering it and small circuits to see how she holds up as a 6S - a piuma this isn't.. good luck.

I understand, but there is a few you tube videos of guys flying this model doing alot more than I'm capable of, as you know I only want to get to a stage where I can fly scale and sport, I did check the weight compared to other 700 6s models and there is only around 100grams In it, this was a test and I may switch out the motor in future, for what I need right now its great. It was a choice of sell it or convert it really.

as long as you're happy mate - s'what matters. I wouldn't have - a needless expense when you have a piuma or a perfectly good 550x. But that said, variation is what you're after so............. If it were progress, this was not the way in my view. The 550x is. @@andre-dx4yw
