Sorry it took a while to come out! I had so many other videos already uploaded and dates to be released lol the Tortuga is such a incredible airframe! Not only does it fly amazing but the speed on 6s is insane! Thanks! My wife does a great job videoing!

Where you getting the xnova motor? I cannot find one 😔 Awesome jet!!
@westhobbiesrc80512 жыл бұрын
So Heli direct use to carry the Xnova motor but I believe Xnova discounted them. It was a special motor design for the Tortuga, super light and powerful.

@@hamiltonshangar it’s a 36m 2200kv, you can use any motor from 28-36mm and really any KV around 2000-2200kv. Just remember weight, if it’s heavier then 140g then just move stuff around. You want it to CG dead level!

Multiple different GPS is in multiple different speed readings. Running the 5.25x6.25 carbon prop. I’ve built quite a few Tortuga‘s and all on Xnova motors and easily 200mph.

i really like the tortuga but i dont think i need the speed. any recommendations for a more efficent, quieter setup that is lighter?
@westhobbiesrc8051 Жыл бұрын
Tortuga is specifically designed to go fast but you could fly it on a for a 4s setup. Any 28mm motor will work. Any pusher prop plane is going to be loud as the prop it self makes a lot of noise.

It’s every bit of 200mph lol it’s done countless passes and checked with a few different ways. I’ve built countless Funjets. The Tortuga is faster on less power as it’s more aerodynamic.
