EveryDay by Nestle did the job for me, the normal packets available at the stores. Do not use Amul powder, they don't work for this recipe. Good luck guys!😊

Made this for my mum's bday yesterday.. and she loved it!! Even though you specifically asked not to use milk whitener, after making the mawa I noticed that EveryDay was not milk powder. 🤭 Now since we don't eat maida too much in our family I replaced it with aata (after straining it with a maida strainer) + a little corn starch. Apart from this since the sugar I used was too big in size it became too sweet in the beginning so I later balanced it by adding boiled water. After all this.. it came out excellent!! Thank you!! 😁

@@priya121abc Happened with me also, I tested first with 2 pieces since I changed the two main ingredients with whitener & wheat flour, they ended up cracking, so I added more corn starch accordingly and the 2nd batch came out very smooth and extremely soft from inside. Infact it absorbed the chashni so well that we had squeeze it out a bit before serving.

it is amazing ...today i tried it in lockdown situation i dnt have milk powder but i have only diary whitener and it is not possible to purchase milk powder from market ryt now ...so i tried it with diary whitener ...you know what with it also gulab jamun tastes amazing ...but of course maida yaman sir ne jitne quantity btayi usse thoda jada dalna pdega ...so dosto you can also use diary whitner ....some viewers have doubt about it ...dts why i commented here ....yaman sir i request you to please share MAALPUDE'S receipe also
