Imagine having to go through all this trauma, and then there’s like 55 bullets coming at you every second, and your soaked in blood in a miserable trench, and then there’s shell shock, it’s just amazing how some people actually survived the trenches and my respect goes out to all of them.
@anhphan152 Жыл бұрын
People can survive the trauma and pain, but a part of themselves was lost somewhere amidst the chaos. I've met war veterans who march for miles every night searching for lost comrades; respond to any kind of loud sound as if there's a bombing going on outside; And in the morning, there are old soldiers taking up flags and running around the nursing home's yard, because they think it's victory day. The war may be long gone to younger generations, but for some of those who were there and made it through: the war is still raging on, and it will continue to torment them for the rest of their lives. To think that these soldiers used to be lively and carefree like us in our youth, it's just sad.

@@anhphan152 And yet not one of the unfathomably rich people guilty of inciting these sorts of 'conflicts' ever approaches harms way nor do they even need to see the actual price of it nor face any consequence. It's merely another stroke of a pen or a phone call for them. And the rich get richer while the common man pays for it all, with everything he has, in the very literal sense.

Not only Krieg formations being French and Germans of the time fused together with some sci-fi touches, but also tank that is featured in this video - huge tank with additional guns on it's sides is pretty much how most of Imperial and even Astartes tanks looks (from standard Leman Russ to massive Land Raider).

Those men who faced those first tanks would have always rembered it, the same for the brave men inside going into the enemy lines like that, it was a guarenteed death sentence as you would get stuck or resistance would take you out eventually. My great-grandfather fought in the Great Patriotic War and he reached Berlin, but he was killed with a grenade... I am proud of him that he went through a third of the war, in Germany. (Hello everyone from Russia)
