I showed my great grandfather what the wonders of Sabaton was a few years ago. He's a World War II veteran who served as a soldier at Dunkirk. Throughout the rest of the life he had left he has listened to Sabaton's work more and more. He was also impressed with the fact that they explained what happened to a particular subject that the song was about and knew they were outstandingly true. Unfortunately, he passed away 7 months ago from heart failure.. may God bless his soul.

I pointed the use of AI art on the reddit page of sabaton and most of the responses were just telling me to "shut up nobody cares",deflecting every telling of ai art as "OH YEAH YOU JUST SAY THAT BUT BUT IT'S NOT GOOD PROOF" or just calling me stupid or even worse. So I guess the answer to your question "Why use ai" is because they know they can get away with it. Sabaton is my fav band but this heavily dissapointed me and im scared to see them use ai in new vids or even worse,their album covers and merch.

No matter what everyone says, I will stay by my statement of it undeniably being AI. I am also severely disappointed that Sabaton is doing AI videos now, but I doubt it will go as far as merch or album covers. They’re not stupid and they know that using AI for something like that and denying the fact that it is AI would get them sued eventually

@@KsnypsAdventures Honestly beside lacking critical thinking I also fear half of the people denying that this is ai could also just be people unable to accept the fact Sabaton is at the end of the day a band but also a brand that cares to make a profit,and sometimes to get most profits they have to go with the cheapest options. The statement also extends to the 3D videos they put our before this,they prob got a cheap artist so the quality suffered. That's also why I'm not really looking forward to the movie their making,because it will prob be a very cheap production aswell.

@@shizar1072 The cheap 3D videos were better than AI stuff. To me, someone using AI AND trying to ignore the fact they did is beyond despicable, so anything made by an actual human is better. Nothing wrong with saving a little money but for f-ck’s sake put in some effort and skill into it. Writing a prompt for a bot to generate an image is not effort and skill. And, they’re making a movie?! Like, cool, but with the current quality of their lyric videos I am very scared of the results… even if it isn’t AI, it’ll probably have horrendous quality, looking at the fact that the best thing Sabaton produced (at least visually) was the Primo Victoria lyric video, and we all know what that looked like…
