I have several questions for the anime, and I'm gonna ask them even tho I know it's just for the scenes Questions: 1. Why are those tanks so goddamn fast? 2. Why the hell are those M1-A2 Abrams not able to shoot while going backwards? 3. What happened to the Stabilizers the are for the turret so that it is specificily made to be able to shoot while moving, this is mainly referring to the scene on the water, that M1 Abram should have been able to shoot 4. @@kousand9917 yeah but exo frames in obsolete are more like power armor than actual legged tank mechs. Really the only thing inaccurate here is that MBT losing to the exo frames in an open field. City combat is where something like exo frames would realistically dominate in. Small enough to go inside building but powerful enough to carry vehicle mounted weapons while still being able to access rooftops by climbing or jumping. It would make pushing with armor through an urban area impossible since rooftop ambushes would negate whatever cover ground troops have and whatever advantage a tank would have in a street level fight. Another use for this frames would be for behind enemy line missions since the one in the anime is alien tech therefore doesn't require fuel just ammo for human made weapons therefore not much need for a direct supply line.

@@XShadowzVarcolac lol, no way we will ever have mechs like you describe. making them small and well armoured would make them have too mutch ground pressure. they would also lack ammunition. and neither of these are solved by being alien tech. besides pushing armour in urban terrain is already impossible. in urban combat tanks sit just within line of sight as far as they can given terrain and shoot at what infantry tell them to. you'll never shoot at a tank's roof unless its an insurgency and you snuck up to the position by wearing civilian clothing.

Everything i have so far noticed that is complete incompetence on the US's part: 1:51 :Your telling me no one was looking in the water for saboteurs, in a war-zone, let alone the fact that a mech would be much easier to see in the water than a diver. 2:21 : That Abrams is firing at a soft target with its main cannon and not its coax. 3:49 :Two things here, those Abrams are retreating with there frontal plates facing towards the enemy, a weak spot which cant be fixed without turning the Abrams into a bulldozer. And they come to a complete stop to fire, something that is not necessary on modern tanks due to stabilizers. 4:18 :Did they just charge into enemy infested water? what did they think would happen?

That lower glacis may not be as heavily armored as the turret but it is still a big chunk of composite armor, and yes, if you are retreating under fire you are supposed to drive backward with frontal armor facing the enemy. This anime has a lot of problems but that is not one of them.

"Panzer" is just the german word for armor. The song is about the second gulf war. Sabaton is on record somewhere, can't remember if it was an interview or something else essentially saying that there were only so many interesting ways to say "tank" as one of the reasons for the name.
