Not gonna lie, I had tears in my eyes...😢 Good homage to other soldiers dying face down in the mud as well as an Homage to *Motorhead* who recorded the song originally. Their videos are probably a better history lesson than what is taught in schools now! Sabaton is an absolutely fantastic band! Powerful song! This is a cover of a Motörhead song. The two guys standing in the door opening at 3:29 are Mikkey Dee and Phill Campbell, the drummer and the guitarist of Motörhead. The picture they are carrying is of Lemmy Kilmister, the bassist, and singer of Motörhead. The other soldiers in the video are references to other songs Sabaton has done.

I am a British Army Veteran, with over 20 years service. Was attached to the Gurkha Regiment when we went the the South Atlantic War. I was proud to have served with them.

You should hear the original acoustic version by Motorhead. Sadly, singer, bassist, songwriter Lemmy died in December 2015. Three of the four members of Motorhead on 1916 have passed. And the entire line-up from their best known song/album Ace of Spades are gone. Drummer Phil Philthy Animal Taylor died a month before Lemmy in November 2015.
