Sniper Simo Häyhä was a finnish sniper who fought at the beginning of WWII. He indeed fought soviet soldiers when Finland was invaded by the USSR.

Guten Morgen or good morning ;) The Song is about the finnish Sniper Simo Häyhä, 500+ confirmed kills within 100 days. Sabaton made another song about a legendary finnish Soldier, Lauri Törni ! Fighting for Finnland, Germany and finally the US as a Green Beret in Vietnam. Check out his story! "Soldier of 3 Armies"

btw, the animation is...well. You wont be able to shoot with an open and unlocked bolt :P

Simon Häyhä used open sight, that is that I se in the video. I might be wrong. (As a sniper you need a elevated rear sight to compensate for the bullets trajectory)

@@bjornjakobsson7456 thats correct, he only used the iron sights of his Mosin M28/30, the standard Rifle of the Finnish Army. Somehow, he did all this without any modifications

@@fenrisulfur842 it was actually his personal hunting rifle

Simo Häyhä is considered by many to have the highest sniper kill count. At the beginning the Finnish government refused to believe the numbers he was reporting, and sent an investigator to check for corruption. Meanwhile the Soviets sent counter snipers to kill him.

And considering he died on April 1, 2002 of natural causes, they failed miserably.

Sabaton has many songs about the Polish, but this one is about a Finnish sniper during the Russo-finnish winter war :D @2:13 "Embody the sisu of Finns". Good reaction though, glad you enjoyed it! :)

The song is from the 2010 5th album, Coat of Arms. This studio version was recorded with the original lineup, so before Tommy. The guitarists are Rickard Sunden and Oscar Montelius and Daniel Mulback on drums. With Daniel Myhr on keyboards. The 4 of them left after the 6th album, going on to form the band Civil War, leaving only Joakim and Par in Sabaton.

Simo Hyhä, a Finnish Sniper legend, with over 500 confirmed snioer kills, even more during motti raids motti was small groups of soldiers (at most 25) raiding Soviet columns splitting them up, then killing the smaller groups in ambush. they think that he surpased 700 kills (hard to keep accurate count duting raid)

And one more little thing.. Simo "The White Death" Häyhä didn't use a scope.. He shot a target 16 Times in minute with his Bolt action rifle to 500 feet, without scope. There is also videos about HIM on KZbin. Check those also..
@The_GuyWhoNeverUploadsAnythingАй бұрын
That 16 times in a minute record is made even more impressive by the fact that his rifle could only fit 5(?) bullets at a time if I recall correctly.
