The Ultra is a very nice upgrade. Much more stable connection between the earbuds and the sound is more coherent. With the MandarinEs Symbio Eartips the sound is even better. Very good value.

I have just received it around couple of hours back, hearing this video on the same . I am throughly impressed with this , as of now there has been no drop in connection, wireless charging is working fine too . Aptx is working fine too , compared to the previous version there is little bit less of bass but overall clarity of sound has increased I have purchased rock and roll coffee Color

Awesome review Brian, can't stress enough how nice and detailed you present your reviews. I have actually unsubscribed to a bunch of reviewers since you have become my top pick for ear bud reviews. Now, as far as these new Ultra versions, how would you compare them to the Tranyas, I've tried the T3'S, T1 PRO, and the B530's, which would you pick if you had to choose one, I personally stayed with the Tranya T3's, just loved their sound signature, bass response and comfort out of the 3 models I tried. I'm loving the new Ultras, don't have connectivity issues anymore with that Qualcomm chip, somehow I'm still finding the Tranya T3'S to sound better as far as my taste goes, but then I'm still breaking the Ultras in to see if the sound comes in better after the break in period.

Thanks for the compliments! As far as the Tranya earbuds. Out of the three if I had to choose, it would be T1 Pro's. I just like the overall sound signature. I feel that it has more of a presence with the mids and highs, and the bass to me just seems a bit more than the T3 & B530. That's not to say that the T3 & B530 don't perform. They are excellent choices as well, and I would say the 2 are fairly equal. It comes down to preference, I think everyone will enjoy sounds differently. I've always been a fan of the E12's and never had any connection issues. It is one of my favorites. And the E12 Ultra will take its place. The overall comfort and fit work well for me. I don't have 1 particular that I would say is the best, I think it's fair to say that there are many great earbuds out there for a reasonable price. And it will come down to the person on how it fits, sounds, and one is willing to spend.

You know now that I remember the only reason I didn't stay with the T1 pros was because of their shape they were not as comfortable as the T3'S for me, but I do agree on the sound, those little guys pack some punch. Thanks for another great review,buddy! 👏🏼 seems like a worthy upgrade over previous. I agree on the convenience of having a matte finish on the case. If you let me give suggestions on the review, On the mic quality test, it would be great to hear the raw noise environment for couple of secs before the actual call capture. That way we can have an idea of how much bg noise they’re able to cancel when on the phone. Another suggestion: pls, comment on the mono modo connectivity, mainly if it’s a master-slave scheme or the two buds connect to the phone,so any one you return to the case will not affect the one left 👍🏼

another superb review, but I think though ultra have cleaner microphone than regular Sabbat E12, but there volume was very low.....Have you checked them on phone calls, do other party hears you well without any problem?? and one more thing you have started uploading sound quality test recently, can you try to upload the sound quality samples, of your favourite earphones in future, when you do some comparisons with the latest earbuds???

So I got the ultras after I notice my regular e12s left side was having trouble charging. The ultras came in but now the left bud is slightly lower volume. I did some testing and when I move the volume up and down it seems to crash and re-start on the left side. I’m waiting on replacements that should be here in a couple days. Very close, but the E12 Ultra have been one of my favorites. Overall fitment and sounds are right for me. They both have the bass so i feel it leans on the warm sound signature.

Both are solid, depends on what you will be using it for. If you are active and workout a lot go with the true shift 2, as it is ipx7 waterproof. If you want a slimmer profile and will just be using it for causal listening then go with E12.

Depends what you are looking for. E12 has more bass compared to the jlabs. If microphone quality is important to you the jlabs have louder and clear mic.

It has a good fit for me and in the video I do use it while running, i can’t say for sure on big ears, have no way of knowing twhat to consider as that size. Judging from comments from previous versions and this, nobody really complained about the fit.

Go with the E12 Ultra, the X12 is more of a half ear design, you will get better sound quality with the E12.

I personally like the sound signature of the E12 Ultra as well as the overall fit. The E12 has more of a warmer sound profile. Lypertek is excellent as well you will get more clarity, separation but the bass will be less compared to E12. Also, the fit is a bit awkward for me. I did a comparison video between them. Not sure if you watched it.
