There is when helping the needy is manipulative, wanting to add to the numbers of believers and making a name for ourselves (building a tower of Babel) We are encouraged to be as shrewd as a snake in wise words and actions directed towards a worthy goal of including many in the joy of our Master. Eve had every good fruit at her exposure, she was not needy but the serpent repackaged the fruit, the creature spoke in a language that Eve understood and the devil was able to exchange his ideas with Eve. Connecting with others and the creatures, ushers us into their territories and their sacred places. Help us Lord, to be intentional as we connect with others for Christ's sake.
