Thank you a million God's servants. We are so grateful because of this inspiring presentation. Let us praise our Lord Jesus for having endured the griefs, sorrows, the agony, and death on the cross for our salvation and the salvation for the eternity. He deserves all glory and praises. Let us welcome Jesus and come to dwell in us for a full transformation in God'S image. Following from Bujumbura-Burundi.

God doesn’t plot. John 14:13 “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” John 18:20 “Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.” John 15:15 “Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.” John 17:12 “While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.” John 17:9 “I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.” “Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way: That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.” John 18:7-9.

In the lesson on Thursday, September 19 ("Laid to Rest"), it's noted that all of Jesus' disciples were nowhere to be seen. But according to Matthew 27:57 and John 19:38, Joseph of Arimathea was a disciple of Jesus.

Yes and Joseph of Arimathea and others like Nicodemus were followers of Jesus, some secretively so they could keep their association with the synagogue. All I read into Joseph’s story is what a privilege it was to have the honour of burying the Son of God

Pilate perceived that It was out of envy that the religious leaders had arrested Jesus. This was not strange since Jesus had confronted them for their many transgressions of Scripture in teaching their traditions and their practice of hypocrisy. He had told them: But in vain they do worship me teaching for doctrine the commandments of men. Mark 7:7 For these and other reasons not honored of God they chose to crucify Him yet in doing so they were unwittingly fulfilling God's commands. We are not to follow leaders to do evil. We are to find leaders who live by every Word of God Matthew 4:4 and who teach the truth that makes us free. John 8 :32.
