Hello, sandra,nice to to be here sitting watching sing along, I have noticed that your group plays a very important part of shearing the gospel in songs, very inspiring, i have notice that your young ladies dress in pants, and as God's peculiar people, we should dress modesty, not wearing the things of the world, we as God's people should be having dresses reformed especially in these last days, when we. Showing to the world who we are, like the brother on the right wearing tommy hill figures, not looking presentable from the world, we should not be a part of the wold, but a family of God, ladies moderately dress, cover up chest,and and arms, knees, men shirt in pants waste, long pants, nothing written on shirts, just shearing my,expressing in the name of Jesus, love you all

Further to Dr Lindsay's thoughts here about the Millerites, the Advent movement and "the Great Disappointment" I was reminded recently that Seventh-day Adventists tend to view the situation about the Great Disappointment as being parallel to the disappointment of the Disciples after the crucifixion: 1) Both groups had a false expectation as to what was going to happen in common with their culture at the time. 2) Both groups had some things that they were correct in, and some that were wrong. 3) Both groups were greatly disappointed. 4) Both groups gained a new understanding afterwards that explained why they were disappointed. 5) Both groups were maligned afterwards because of the history of their false expection. 6) Both groups grew to world-wide proportions (despite opposition). Just precious. Is very nostalgic for me as well. Seeing Dr. Lindsay reminds me of my childhood. I watched Keepers of the Flame, so many times with my dad as a child. This was such a lovely group too. Sadly, we are still here in this world of sin and sorrow because we have forgotten "the way the Lord has led us and His teaching in our past history." She wrote that in 1869. Our schools certainly have not followed the blueprint laid down in the book Education. Our hospitals are essentially like the world's dispensing drugs which do much more harm than good. We have "books of a new order." Please kindly read Volume 1 of Selected Messages pages 204-205 for a list of things where we have not done. The only thing left is for the structure to be swept away.
