I'm from kenya and Iv worked and visited Uganda, rwanda, Sudan, burudi and congo but I feel in love with Rwanda, they have a very big heart and they r ready to go a mile with you for your comfort, they introduced me to the language which I communicate very well also their food and their life of alcohol because in every home u visit no tea or coffee it's beer 🍺🍻🍻 or banana wine which I liked, bravo Tomas you r a quick learner kinyarwanda not easy very hard but u nailed it

I'm Rwandan American. They do what we call umuganda every end of the month to clean up everyone participate nationally. Deplorable conditions should not be who we are and we can lead by example. If Rwanda can do it. So can all Africa if they put their mind to it

Hahaha! Me too! He's going to Goma, which is literally in the same valley as Gisenyi. I've been to both cities- just a ridiculously beautiful part of Africa. Also, fellow African KZbinr Wode Maya is in Congo now, too! But the western part- Kinshasa. I believe the visa to cross over is still over for Americans is $200, which is nuts, but well worth it. Goma is emerging as a cool vacation town, tech hub, and an emerging restaurant scene for Eastern Africa. Enjoy it, Tommy!
