Thank you for the honesty. They must also work on fixing other problems within Zimbabwe so that they can bring Zimbabwean children back to their own soil. Both countries should prosper by working together, not against each other. It's time to let South Africa breathe and take care of its internal problems without shouldering others, and Zimbabwe must also do the same without burdening others.

I think ur speaking from a point of defending that u yourself are a burden to the South African economy. What she said is very right, where it was said is very important. She said this after the patient was already treated. Our taxes are servicing the wrong people we are extremely tired of this. Zimbabwe has never and will never be this generous to anyone. We are tired.

Shame on the media who make every effort to bring her in bad light by playing around with words. Why do you try and force your opionion on the public hiding behind "the manner in which is was done". You were not there! It is the duty of every citizen to protect our country and our rights. She is right to act, because we cannot sit and wait forever for those that was appointed to act on this, but failed to do so. I thought she did a brilliant job in explaining to this patient how the system works and how the abuse of the system affects other human beings, that are citizens, who have been on the waiting list for years. Out citizens pay the taxes to support the government system, and therefore all OUR OWN citizens should benefit from it.

I am Zimbabwean and I appreciate her concerns. We are just victims of systems which are beyond our control. Zimbabwe channels out Drs every year but most end up in South Africa or other countries. Our own children who qualify as doctors do not work in Zimbabwe after using resources in the country to qualify as doctors. We apologise for the inconveniences caused. I am a legal immigrant and was also involved in an accident while at work. I was given first class treatment which l m very grateful for. The situation in Zimbabwe will come to an end as nothing lasts forever but our neighbourly situation lasts forever. I wish this post would be available when it happens because I know it will. Situations will turn around and we have an obligation to assist South Africa in whatever need. It’s stressful yes but a sick person ending up at your doorstep, means they know they will get assistance and that speaks volumes about your kind hearted nature. It will be unfair for us to castigate her for saying what she said as pressure of work comes with a lot of stress yet when she checks progress it appears on zero. The two governments have an obligation to discuss this.
