I work and live in Europe and the majority of people here cannot afford land or property. They work their buds of just to pay rent and where they cannot make ends meet, then government subsidised housing becomes an option. What happened to the promised affordable housing the governing party promised all these years? If they failed on that, and we know they did, how on earth can you trust them with this new law? Very disappointing comments from the prof. She should know better but maybe it a question of “he who pays the piper… “ Lastly, SA needs jobs - this law will see an exodus of investors from this lovely country which will lead to more poverty and more unemployment. Hopefully common sense will prevail and the right decision will be made for the future of all South Africans

I wonder if people know the expropriation of the land, means the government will now own the land, and the chosen beneficiary's will have to pay to lease the land, plus pay the R&T ect. The Government is also supposed to subsidize the the expenses for equipment needed to produce income from Farm Activities. But according to the 2022 Alpha audit , report ,they no longer can afford to pay people the Land reformation subsidies , due to the misappropriation of funds (Corruption) amounting R22Billion . Government hasn't been able to fulfill their promises to fund the BELA bill, so how are the going to fund this? STOP deceiving the people with false promises!!
