Companies couldn’t respond to Beneficial Ownership for various reasons: The self help guide was very badly written, the outside companies who could do the job was asking for astronomical prices, we couldn’t file an annual return until the BO was done. Who has got the time to sit on the phone waiting for the people to answer our calls to help? What a mess…..

Department of Small Business Development and other Government initiatives requires registration of business as part of the entrepreneurial programs they implement. Many don't become full fledged businesses and lies dormant as the red tape suffocate survival income creation within the informal trade sector.

We go to CIPC to pay and renew, but they take forever to update on their system. This makes it difficult to print our updated certificates. Especially those unanswered calls 😮😮😮😮😮

To run a small business in this country is an absolute red tape nightmare... The fact that we need to use people that help with the red tape around this is proof how frustrating this process is.
