It was twofold. 1) Seig had absorbed Frankenstein's Galvanization earlier. 2) Seig, being a homonculus, meant he had a huge mana reserve. He would've lost against Karna regardless, but those 2 buffs gave him enough time to hold off Vasivi Shakti long enough for Astolfo to save the day

Akilleus chosmos is a reality Bubble of a demigod. Siegfried is also a demigod. Guy was literally using cheat codes and people say he has no chance of winning. Karna did well against the amount of unfairness he was facing off

Last time I checked, Siegfried isn't a demigod, nor is Balmung a god-killing weapon. It is a Holy and Demonic sword yes, but not Anti-Divine.

@@B..B. but the thing was, if you are considering lore accurate, then Karna could never lose in battle unless he isn't wearing his armor, which was actually his flesh. Only Karna himself could rid himself of his armor and no one. No weapon, either of human, demigod or GOD could hurt him in his armor. The only way he could be defeated was if the ALL POWERING GOD himself erased him from existence. In lore, to win in the final battle of the epic Mahabharata, in which the god of gods took part in humanly form, had to plan and plot to somehow get rid of karna's armor, so he sent a god which took the form of Sun God (Karna's father) who asked Karna to gift his armor. Karna, even knowing that it would result in his death, stripped off his flesh with a KNIFE, yes a f@cking knife, and thus in the final battle was killed by Arjuna( his brother). and even then, he didn't die while fighting, his chariot got stuck which the god of gods created, so he was pulling out the wheel of his chariot, then the god told Arjuna to shoot Karna, even when killing someone who is not on his chariot was not allowed, in that particular battle, but god of gods knew, that karna, even without his armor and his knowledge of archery (Karna was an archer, not lancer) as Karna was cursed by his own master, that he will forget all his teachings when he will need it the most, was trouble, so he killed Karna.

For everyone that says "Sieg had plot armor", it was probably Alaya helping because that timeline would have gone kaput if Sieg didn't carry the Greater Holy Grail to the reverse side of the world. (at least that is my opinion, there are probably alternative explanations and honestly saying that he has plot armor is a valid explanation too)

No Alaya won't help any random heroic spirits the explanation is right there sieg is using command spells back to back he would have lost after tanking vasavi shakti barely astolfo came in clutch and because Karna burned his armor to use his np sieg was able to get through him easily

To be fair, cheating is the reason Karna originally died in the first place. And besides, you'd have to be incredibly confident, stupid or both to try and fight Karna in a fair battle. But yeah the way they did it was dumb. Shame too, because I actually really enjoyed Apocrypha.

So… I actually decided to read into the lore a bit and uh… Believe it or not, actual Siegfried’s Balmung is not only more powerful than Sieg’s command spell and Galvanism combo, he can rapid fire it *even faster.* This is due to him having a Dragon Core. However as a Servant, the Dragon Core is heavily deteriorated. In other words, both Karna and Siegfried’s true powers get nerfed as Servants…

@@owgames1059 Certain Heroic Spirits are weaker as Servants, but not all of them. Guys like Herakles, Gilgamesh and Karna are certainly weaker as Servants due to the limitations of a Class container, but other Heroic Spirits are actually stronger as Servants, like Robin Hood and most Casters due to them not having the strength, speed, etc of a Servant in life.

Lol here's a fact that heroic spirits are nerfed by the Holy Grail (and Master's mana) when they are summoned especially legendary ones like Siegfried and Karna. When Siegfried took Sieg's body idk the logic of this but part of the nerf of Siegfried was disappeared. (Not all of the nerf was disappeared because in FGO he is missing invisibility cloak and same with Apocrypha) also Sieg has power of 2 Servants. Yes Sieg has plot armor but if you compare to Shirou it's much more for Shirou's case. Also remember Siegfried recently deflected and endured a tametomo missile in Traum. Had it been the opposite case of Karna giving the heart and then fighting Siegfried instead, I believe Siegfried would get destroyed.

Apocrypha is one of those shows where you watch for specific scenes and skip through the rest. Mordred was great tho, even outside of fights.
