Saber with REAL Transparency in After Effects!

They may have changed something. If you switch Saber's Composite Settings to "Transparent", any layer below it becomes transparent, too. What does work (at least for me) is when you make the settings as you described, but then pre-compose the layer with the Saber with a black background.

how do you move the edges of your layer away from the glow? 2:00

Make sure your composition & layer are large enough for the effect; you don't want the glow to take up the entirety of your composition or it will begin to clip the edges of the effect. Others have said that the "Grow Bounds" effect works, but I was never able to get it to work with Saber.

This litterally put a transperant backround over my video and fixed nothing! The video could be seen if you shut off the effect! Or it just keeps the black backround and doesnt do a thing! Please help

If you mean once the video is exported from Adobe After Effects, you have to ensure you're using a codec & container that both support transaprency during encoding.

If the layer you are applying saber on to is smaller than the comp size then you can use grow to grow bounds.

Doesn't work here! The blending mode and the "transparent" on render settings in Saber doesn't appear. There is "alpha mode" with a popup menu containing: Enable masks, mask core, mask glow and disable. No one works, they keep showing the background. I'm getting crazy because I need to delivery a job in a logotype using this effect. Could you help me please?
