I always carry my saber in my hand so its always at the ready. Alternatively, I keep it in my backpack.

I have two of the regular covertec clips. You have quite a few. Metal clips would be the best choice over plastic.

The best covertec alternative I have found is from another Etsy store called Galactic Geek Props. They have a 3D printed covertec clip that has a much more robust belt clip and there is no release mechanism, which means you can quickly draw and replace the saber with one hand. You may have to slightly sand down the groove a bit when you receive it to make the covertec wheel slide in and out smoothly, but it is a great option for people who want to be able to draw the saber quickly without having to mess with a release mechanism.

If a person has a saber that has a d ring or o ring on it you can use a mug strap they are easy and affordable to either buy or make.

I run both covertech and D-Ring, depending on the saber I choose. But at the end of the day I prefer the D-Ring set up

I'm surprised you didn't mention the Saberforge belt clip. It's a plastic piece that can hold both covertec wheel and D-ring. Fairly stable as I have worn my Ultrasabers Graflex with it hooked onto both my pocket and my belt.

Can you please link to that? All I see on the Saberforge website is the Covertec clip. Is it out of production, like the Park Sabers Belt Clip?

I wish someone would make a full metal version of the type you have in the video. I had one I used for my anakin rots costume that I hung my 89 sabers skinnyflex on but it broke on Halloween when I bent over (luckily somehow my saber didn’t fall and chip the chrome) I want the movie accuracy of the covertech but strength of a metal one :/

I only have ultrasabers right now, so I'm not sure if covertec is necessarily better than other types.

I have a saberforge and ultrasaber. Do the saberforge covertech clips work the same as the ultrasabers covertec clips? I would like to buy one, if possible to be able to carry both with the same clip, but I’m not sure which one to buy. are the knobs the same size?

Yes, the should both fit. I had never any problem switching them. Hope that helped.

Man, I’m making my second lightsaber which unlike my first will just be more of a for show item I can clip on and off. I’m looking for lightsaber connections to clip it to my belt or pants and getting ideas as ima make my own, but the fact that we aren’t shown any and they’re just talked about is pretty pointless, especially since none seem to have the attatchment to put onto the saber

I've owned the Darklyte Saberlok and SaberKraft's SaberMount Classic. Unfortunately, both belt clips do not fit the different covertec widths out there which made most of my hilts very difficult to slide through. Hey, just came across this video and noticed you have a Consular. How does its size compare to an Apprentice? I can't seem to find any dimensions on Ultrasabers or anywhere else.

Sorry to hear that you're disappointed. :( I would love to show the belt clip alternatives in person, however, I don't have all of them at the moment. Like everyone, I only have a finite amount of money to spend on lightsabers and lightsaber accessories. Seemed like at least linking to them would be useful to someone (hopefully it is). So if your just going to show your hands do sign langauge or something. second if your going to give examples of alternatives don't ou think you should physicaly own those to show us the alternatives rather then just talka bout them? .. You don't make vidoes about lightsabers without having alightsaber with you.. imean just saying... thanks for ht eideas though
