You know what I would like? for the companies selling Neopixel sabers to have an option where we could just buy the saber without the blade to lower the cost... Say you got already 1 Neopixel that cost you like $450, if they had the option to buy saber without blade, the saber only could be like $100 less or more. It's the only reason I still buy only Base Lit sabers, I can buy more sabers this way.

Most do sell only complete hilts and blades because of the price markup they can charge and well, most new buyers may only get one hilt in a year so it makes sense to sell them that way. Some overseas companies sell various packages for lightsabers. But you really need to research them to make sure you understand their products. I deal with 2 or 3 that sell without blades (cheaper international shipping charges and less hassle for them too). Search ETSY too, there's many to choose from. Not going to plug for other companies on someone elses' channel.

Yes the Kenobi series helmet is different. The neck was extended to the proper length and the two tone paint is accurate, the lenses are red as is proper and it’s actually a tiny bit more symmetrical and not as wide in the face. It is a better helmet

The new helmet mold is much better then the original! The neck piece extends a little further down to but other then they’re pretty much identical.

Hey Paul, those are exactly the blades I’m talking about in the video! They have red connectors, I was told by someone they changed their style to a black connector, and now they are more heavy. 🤷🏼‍♂️

@Finding The Force Thanks, good to know. I guess I got lucky and bought mine before the switch over. I also noticed the Artsabers Anakin ep3 saber we both have has a very lightweight blade also, the 7/8 inch blade seems to be much lighter than all the 1 inch blades out there. I want to be sure your ok with me helping ppl find good deals, I don't want to be stepping on your toes, Obi-Dad. I know Artsabers is your sponsor, so if I've overstepped I apologize. The main reason I try and get the lowest price possible is I hurt my L4 and L5 over 20years ago. The injury makes it so I can only work PT. But I try not to let it stop me and found having a positive attitude helps, but some days are still tough. Like I said, let me know if I'm stepping on your toes. I've also noticed the 89sabers blades have kind of a matte/hazy finish instead of the more translucent blades that come with the LGT/Artsabers blades. Thx for the blade info. I just checked and I have 1 of each size 89sabers blades, the 1in and the 7/8 in and they do indeed both have the red connectors. I hope for their sake they added more blade screws on the Luke ROTJ hilt if their blades are heavier, because that hilt only has 1 screw to hold that lightweight blade in it.

@Finding The Force Ryan, I got in touch with one of my ALIEXPRESS contacts. They sent me a pic of the black connector 89sabers blade on a scale. They are a little heavier, but not by much. The weight was .38 of a pound instead of the .33 of the red ones. Just so you know. Later bro.

You need a lightsaber from Vaders Vault to compare. I have neopixel sabers from Vaders Vault, Korbanth, Wattos Junkyard, Sabermach and Pach Store and the Vaders Vault neopixel are hands down the brightest blades I own.

If there's someway that you can find a cover tech belt clip from a Galaxy's Edge saber... you could unscrew it and put it on your Darksaber. 🤷🏼‍♂️ That's all I got. What makes the blade lightweight? Just thinner wall blade?

I don’t know how anyone can still like the Disney blades after seeing and using a neopixel… the difference is literally night and day. Plus, the plastic on those blades is terrible for dueling. It has way more nicks and scratches on it than any of my neos and I’ve gone pretty hard with them at times. Ever since I got my Xenopixel clone wars ahsoka sabers, plus several others since then, my Disney saber has been in its sleeve. I still love it as it’s my first decent saber since I was like 6 years old as Obi, but Xenos are amazing. I have 2 proffies coming in tomorrow for some more advanced tinkering and blade styles. A mystery box from VireSabers and a fifth spectre from SaberTrio.

Thanks for the video. Do you hear how crunchy your audio is? That's clipping. You either need to turn the mic input gain down while recording or use a limiter in post if you turned up the gain.

Hey Mr. B. thank you very much for the suggestions, I'm not very knowledgeable with audio, I've been trying my best. I do have a nice yeti microphone but I really enjoy standing for my videos which allows me to keep up the good energy and try to insert some comedy. I heard what you were talking about, I just simply record the audio to my iPhone and then bring it over in editing. In this video I think I moved my microphone closer on my shirt to try to isolate my voice and cut down on the echo in my studio, I'm thinking maybe I should invest in a slightly better quality lapel microphone. All the ones I have tried really don't sound as natural when they become wireless. Please feel free to email me if you have any more detailed suggestions, this is one part of my videos I have been trying to improve.

I know this video is 4 weeks old but I’m looking for stands for Black Series Sabers. I have 2 original BS sabers that come with the crappy clear plastic stands.
