My dad had a covertech clip for his phone back in the mid 90s. There's no point to the story, just wanted to share.

If you are worried about it falling out without the lock on the wheel, I got the v2 and I was jumping and running around and didn't have any issues with it slipping out of the slot. So personally I like the v2 :)

I actually just got my V2 today in the mail and I gotta say this one is far better. It can accommodate both covertec wheel and a ring and there’s no buttons to push to get them off.

(Note)* You don’t actually have to press in the buttons on the first one when putting the saber in. You just have to push the wheel all the way to the back of the belt clip and pull down until it clicks.

Check out the ones from Galaxy’s Edge. Love them as it allows me to what ever rig I have on my sabers without changing my outfit or needing to bring another clip.

I conceal carried my saber to church last weekend. Of course, I had to show it off to my fellow saber aficionado's. Everyone loved it. It was an Obi Wan ANH btw. Love that thing.

If the cover tech v2 had the locking mechanism to keep it in place then thatd be my choice but that and the d ring functions seem too loose and I dont want to damage my saber
