It needs to be graphic I want to see Ridley ripping a scientist and half Sam is fighting for her life in the hospital from the parasite X and her bing hunted down by the SA-X over the course a season with tons and tons of childhood flashbacks I’m a huge fan of Metroid 4 even though the game sucks its the prettiest the story is straight out of alien it’s basically easy mode if you can’t beat Metroid 4 then you shouldn’t play Metroid games it’s by far the easiest Metroid with the classic gameplay

Saber, you mention that this show did a good job of capturing the esthetic of the game. When people have complained about this show, the faithfulness to the game is the last complaint people have about it. Really, what we say is bad about the show is the plots of the episodes. They're so weird and bizarre. Although, I do like this show ironically

Well hey, Detective Pikachu did well. It carried the charm of the series, did better than the game it was based on, stayed true to the source material (I will never stop appreciating that the policemen had Growlithes), and the designs were all really good! Also, the team behind Castlevania is in fact doing a new VG series, but they have their sights set on Devil May Cry. I know a series based on that already exists, but I don't think it went very far and Bootleg Universe has shown themselves to be very capable. I'm excited. 😀

My older cousin loved this show as a kid and would watch it like crazy and I went to his house one day and saw he had a vhs of Donkey Kong Country Legend of the Crystal Coconut and he let me have it and it was his childhood copy the only copy he had of the entire show and I went home and watched it over and over again to the point I showed it to my brother who loved too and me and him watched it over and over again and we still have it to this day seriously y’all need to watch this show

I'm glad you gave this an honest look. It seems like this is one of those tv shows that is just put up as an easy target for media reviewers. And sure, it has its glaring aspects (why the hell is there so much singing?!), but I think I remember coming across a pack of episodes for rent at Blockbuster as a kid and enjoying it enough.
