This is very close to my heart and it happened to me in reality.I had quit my job after getting pregnant but was getting bored at home.On a weekend my spouse and were visiting his friends place and in the next building a walk in interview of an unknown company was going on. He was talking for long and I just wandered to this building and saw that they were recuriting in my field. I went there even without a resume and cleared 3 rounds.. then I got my husband to print a resume from mailbox ..In my last round I told HR that I was 5 months pregnant.. she said "so ? How is that relevant ? Is that an incurable disease ? Will you not be able to work because of it ?"...I got my offer letter on that day itself...And in case any one is wondering. that unknown company was Accenture... It was 2004

Wow a wonderful ad. Reminds me of the time my probation of 1 yr was extended to 2 yrs coz I got pregnant the first yr into wrk. That too as a teacher in a prestigious private school. Such is the discrimination we face. Its been 23 yrs now nd i have changed wrk place but the hurt still remains

@@vaishalinimkar9225 My company didn't do this but I will say one thing that company doesn't hire someone in the leave period and it is managed by your overburdened team mates and some time it creates chaos that's why company try avoid pregnant women as new joinee.

I'm happy society n companies have changed their perspective. I was 3/4 months pregnant..and was doing my final round with HR @ leading investment banker ...my husband insisted that i tell them..and i was never called back..it was a big disappointment for me..but that was way back in '92..glad things have changed 😊🙏

the young lady who played the candidate/employee role definitely deserves more roles/visibility ... she nailed it. drives us thru her emotions with her expressions. Just awesome. But script could have been tweaked little - she could have said "No, I dont want to hide it, and shall disclose it with the boss".
