At 4:08, and also in the title you mention it is a "ride" cymbal, when Sabian named it "Tempest" only, not a ride, not a crash, not a symphony etc... So the buyer can decide for what purpose he uses it. Love that cymbal thx for the great demo again! Now I want one but want to hear it in person before ... One question: Can you confirm if the sound that comes out of that video is close to the sound you heard in the studio? Thx!

You are 100% right with statement. I can confirm that the sound in the video is accurate.

It’s like a higher pitched light Artisan.

Agreed! This cymbal really is more crash than ride. My HHX Complex crashes have better bells than this cymbal.
@do86718 ай бұрын
Again.. the bell is not always there to be "use" as a belle... A bell provides other characteristics of the cymbal itself... It all depends why you want from a cymbal...

@@do8671 fair enough, flat rides are a good example of this

"very thin but described as medium in weight"?? This cymbal sounds too thin to be a versatile ride

I was thinking king the same exact thing. The bell doesn’t cut enough

I'm not so sure about this. A more fitting multi would be the Anthology 22 low/high and the TS Session Ride. This tempest "ride" works more like a big crash for rock kits
@do86717 ай бұрын
And thats why Sabian did NOT identified it as "ride" it is simply "tempest" this video is miss leading people... Even Though it is a nice demo...
