Kenshi | Fogmen Only Playthrough + War with the Hive!!! | EP01

Kenshi Playthrough where I'll be allowed to use only Fogmen and have to go to war against our cousins, the HIVE! The goal is to capture the Southern Hive Queen and hold her for a set period of time before executing here. All of the factions of Kenshi hate me, so I'll be having to contend to that too!

Name Skavies Weapon Falling Sun or Fragment Ax, no planks. Falling sun would be better, less strength required, but much harder to come by... Light armor please. Samurai Cloth pants, dustcoat, whatever else... That bone armor is not better than nothing, it provides no defense at all and comes with skill penalties. You should drop it.

Name: Clicks Sub-race: Fogman Heavy (I understand they are a lot harder to find in this playthrough) Weapon Of Choice: Plank or Fragment Axe (it’s up to you)

Loving the setup for this playthrough. If fogmen are enemies of every one, then perhaps vengeance for Inara can be had. Super hoping to get in this time, Name; Supherus Job; Smith. Perhaps we can befriend the skeletons and help them kill the Holy Nation. Watching your Kenshi videos makes my day. It began as a soft whisper, like the sound of wind passing through the trees some distance away. Building slowly in volume and clarity as days turned to months. Finally the sound of the voice was like an ever present hymn playing in endless loop, spurring thought and action to the will of the voice. Sabouts knew he was special among his kind, being smarter and more 'civilized' than the other Fogmen was simply as it had been from the beginning. The voice was new. First thinking himself going mad, now the truth was Sabouts knew what he planned to do was indeed madness. When Sabouts could finally make out the words whispered to him the command was clear: kill the living, free the dead. What Sabouts understood was to find others like him, and do as the voice instructed. Among the fogmen only one thing is worshiped or feared, the Slender one. Even the least evolved Fogmen still know of him. Like most other cultural myths the Slender one has never actually been seen by it's worshipers, yet many in the congregation claim to hear his whispers. Being smarter than your average fogman Sabouts believed the stories all false, that none actually 'heard' anything, they were simply mad. Ironic that the madness now gripped him. Questions now plagued Sabouts. Did other races know of the Slender one? Did all fogmen hear his voice? Could Sabouts meet his God? None were ever answered. The voice simply commanded, it would be followed. Perhaps it was thanks to his cunning that Sabouts was able to understand his Lord. No matter, the path ahead was clear, to build a society that could grow to rival all others. Eventually only dead men would be the fogmen's companions. This part of the command puzzled Sabouts. Did the skeletons also worship the Slender one? Maybe their fealty protected them from death. If ever Sabouts was to meet one of the dead, questions would need to be asked. Starting his quest in the Fog Islands Sabouts felt a pang of regret leaving his home. The stronghold of the fogmen is an unequivocal shithole, so the feeling was brief. Seeing among another group of his kind some that might be able to speak with him Sabouts began to make friends. Taking one of their group he asked simply "Do you hear the voice?" the fogman answered "It whispers." and the bond was made. Not long after crossing the border of the Fog Islands Sabouts came upon a ruined Holy Nation outpost, now a fogman stronghold, and saw the place his men would call home. Fights between bandits and fogmen led Sabouts to join another to his growing crew. These new recruits would need names, to make that happen would be a difficult task. The voice seemed only to give pronouncements, the details would be for Sabouts to control.
