Great video! It may be worthwhile to explore how the March is actually established as well.

Love your videos! They help break down the sport into understandable pieces for a beginner, like me.

PLEASE re-upload the "Breaking the March" video -- we can't watch it in the USA! I loved that video! It was so useful!

sydneysabrecentre It says, "This video contains content from Warner Chappell, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds." :( That was my favorite video! Thank you for all of your helpful videos!

Nice video, lots of good, current footage. Love the music choice. Australian Sabre coaches should keep in mind the importance of teaching good balance, coordination, posture, distance and good old fashion bouting (lots of it) before getting their students to attempt high level actions.

Really nice video! Could you please elaborate how Kovalev's skitters work. 'Every time he goes back he loses priority, but he gains it back because the opponents movements are too large' but does he avoid losing the priority, does he avoid each beat when he sees it coming or does he predict when the opponent is going to beat, or does he just skitter back randomly so the opponent doesn't expect him to do so and doesn't react fast enough to retake the priority?

Dancing tuna No, he's reacting to the opponent attempting beat or counterattack. The updated rule interpretation as of Athens 2014 has made this sort of thing much easier: you can move back and still maintain priority. We go into it in this video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6bRd39qep5kZ9U
