They wanted Sabrina to appear more assertive by giving her a best friend that had lower self-esteem, which is why Valerie was invented to replace Jenny. (I really liked Jenny though since she was cool and didn’t care too much about what people thought about her, unlike Valerie who often came across as whiny especially whenever she had one of her neurotic breakdowns of self-consciousness.)

If you notice, the dogs seem to come out of a bedroom and not up the stairs, they couldn't have the dogs come up the shallow staircase part of this set on command. To try and cover up the weirdness, they have Sabrina and the Aunts come out of the bedroom too :P

No, the other staircase is the one from the kitchen. The shadow, the dogs and Sabrina and her aunts all come from the staircase in the living room. 😄

@@occono3543It is very big indeed. I have watched this show so often and always wondered why there are two staircases. I finally figured it out. Haha 😅 This is an absolute dream house! I wish I had a room just like Sabrina's. I dont like it when she goes to College and moves out..
