It was nice that Quizmaster brought Sabrina to her mom instead of saying she past the test. I am glad Sabrina saw her mom. It was a sweet Mother’s Day theme episode. I’ll miss Quizmaster I wish he had come back as Dreema quiz master or tutored Sabrina with the family secret at the end. I missed him in the later seasons

I thought Sabrina could see her Mom when she turned 18. When she turned 18 in the season 4 premiere, there was no mention of her Mom whatsoever. Her Dad pays her a visit though. In a season 6 episode, Sabrina came face to face with her Mom by surprise and her Mom turned into a ball of wax. Sabrina cried and tears fell onto the wax turning her mom back into human form again. They had to quickly turn away from each other though because Hilda and Zelda told her if they ever came face to face again, she would permanently be a ball of wax. She was able to attend Sabrina's wedding although Zelda had to be turned into a candle as a trade off. If the witches council was so against Sabrina seeing her Mom, I wonder why they gave her a choice of her mom or magic as a test.

Boredom maybe? there is an episode where she gives mister pool the formula to make gold and when she goes before the witches councils she says 'i know i know no messing with the mortals' and it turns out they did not care if she messes with her mortal friends but they don't want her giving out things like that. and she replies with something along the lines off 'you guys are really bored arent you'

her mom is under a spell that turns her into a ball of wax due to Witches Council, seeing each other again causes the spell to become permanent…her mother attended her wedding due to an agreement between Aunt Zelda and her mom, Zelda saw it but as a cabdle.

Sabrina broke the rules when she tried to send her Mom a letter, and they changed it from 2 years (when she turned 18) to permanent because they are the witches council and not very fair. The new Witch's Council would have overturned it if they could, but aren't allowed to overturn decrees of the old Witch's council - but did make an exception for Sabrina's wedding by temporarily turning Zelda into a candle.

not the quizmaster that came up with the rules. The witches' council is the one that came up with the test, and the rule about Sabrina not being able to visit her mother.

I love this show… Now all grown up i can see how rude Sabrina was all the time. Takes away some of what I used to consider “fun”

I'd say petty or vengeful would be more accurate. She was rarely mean, mostly just (justifyably) upset at most witch shenanigans.

If this was a test then why did the council change the decree from her not seeing her mother for the next two years to her not ever seeing her again? it's such a stupid rule

because they had to allow it due to the test…she wasn’t supposed to pass the test, she passed it and forced their hand

See, if this show was created for an adult audience, they would have gone more in depth with Sabrina still choosing her mother over magic and there would be a whole season of Sabrina without magic... and maybe she would eventually demand the witches council change the rules for all half witches so she can be a witch and have magic. But this show was created for kids and teens so that deep of a show couldn't happen.

Nah, they could have done that if they wanted to, being a teen sitcom wouldn't have stopped them, I mean just look at Wizards of Waverly Place and some of the episodes they've done. The 90s sitcom of Sabrina The Teenage Witch was always more of a lighter and softer version of Sabrina

How exactly it this good, considering that later on, the witches council put the spell on Sabrina's mom. If Sabrina laid eyes on her mom, she would turn into a ball of wax.
