I absolutely enjoyed listening to this podcast. I think it beautifully summarizes what the Orthodox Christian faith is about and I will absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more. My journey to Orthodoxy began last year in March during Lent (according to the Western liturgical calendar). I was actually looking for material on the CRI website related to fasting, when I stumbled upon podcasts where Hank, Metropolitan Yohannan, Nathan Jacobs, among a few others, were discussing topics like divine synergy and true worship from an Orthodox perspective. Being raised a Protestant, I was completely unfamiliar with some of the things that they discussed, but still they immediately resonated with my soul somehow. I wanted to know more! Before that I had already learned (and unlearned) so much by listening to the Bible Answer Man podcasts through the years, but when I accidentally learned about Hank's conversion to Eastern Orthodoxy and the controversy that it raised years ago, I became curious. Before that time, I knew nothing about the Orthodox Church, as there is no Orthodox Church presence in my country. Then, after a year of exploring, it came to a point where I was convinced that EO is the truth and I wanted to become Orthodox! The Lord brought me in touch with a nice and very knowledgeable priest from a Russian Church Outside Russia mission serving the Caribbean, and I joined his online catechumen class a month ago. I thank God for His grace for bringing me home to the Eastern Orthodox Church. I am grateful for the incredible blessing that the CRI has been in my walk with Christ. I also bought a few books from the CRI bookstore and I will continue to do so and support the ministry. Hank Hanegraaff, you are by far my favorite Bible teacher. Thank your for the wonderful personalized birthday wishes - I've kept them all. 😊 May the grace of the Holy Trinity be with you, your family and the entire CRI crew.

Hank is enamored with ritual likened unto catholicism thru orthodoxy. Holy Communiion is a remembrance of Christ's ordeal. That is all. Those who believe that it's magical are ridiculous. It is not necessary for church service. I prefer services that don't waste time with this

@lindseycox-mcqueen5806 Nothing supernatural or sacramental connected to partaking in the Lord's Supper? Just a memory?
