Who is he gonna represent internationally? He's both Slavic and Greek. Some would argue he'd follow in his dad's footsteps, but I don't know about that in this case. Even though his dad played for Yugoslavia, that national team no longer exists. Peja then played for Serbia/Montenegro which are now two teams. He'd possibly play for Serbia which has a great squad including Jokic ... but I see him suiting up for Greece. He was born in Greece. His family lived in Greece. His mom is Greek. He vacations in Greece. His dad played for PAOK and almost for the Greek national team. Both Greece and Serbia have top talent right now, but I see him playing alongside Giannis.

I saw an interview with Pedja Stojakovic on serbian TV. He was asked where Andrija would play should he get the chance to play for the national team. Pedja's wish is very clear...Serbia.Andrija grew up in the USA and has little to do with either Serbia or Greece .Nevertheless, I hope, like Andrija's father, that the boy follows in his father's footsteps and chooses Serbia, which also has significantly more quality in the Serbian team than in the Greek team.Who would say no if they had the chance to play with Nikola Jokic, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Nikola Milutinov, Vasilje Micic etc?Serbia has played in 4 or 5 finals since the 2014 World Cup until today 2024 (world cup final twice 2014 and 2023,euro final i think 2017,then olympia final 2016).From a sporting perspective, Serbia is a no brainer, Greece is not at this level .
