That's how I use the spreads & it works really well. You're so on point about the energy. It's completely different than my other Goddess decks. I've been studying this deck in-depth since October. Am having so much fun right now after I purchased this deck following on from your video! Tarot of the Spirit or Margaret Petersen are more intuitive pairings which I also enjoyed with this oracle. And for the earthy colours, I found that the Fenestra tarot works surprisingly well and gives it a practical application.....Thank you again!

These pairings are wonderful! Try the Butterfly Maiden from the Sacred Mothers oracle with the Field tarot. A dream! a few other cards in that Oracle also work with the FieldTarot. Tarot of Transformation goes with all the purple and some of the more Earth coloured cards as well. Thank you for the inspiration!

Yemayá has an accent added on the end on the card, so the emphasis in pronunciation would be there. So 'Ye-mah-YA'. This deck felt comforting as soon as I received it so, it's my top goddess/mother deck. I use it with tarot how you described too. So glad you have a video on it. Loved the pairings.

​@@Artemis583 I think I understand what you mean. I'm not shocked or skeptical. I studied spiritual history for decades. Yamaha is a Yoruba Orisha, and their Nigerian ancestors were Black. Pretty sure Aset had dark skin, Ramses called her the Mistress of Nubia which also means Black). The Greeks said "Isis" and lightened her skin. I like this channel and listen a lot. I checked out African Goddess Rising deck, but not crazy about glossy cards. The deck shown above looks cool but I like artists drawing "women of the world" and creating decks to consider that a good chunk of the world's population is Black and dark brown. Creative diversity without dark skin is something that happens a lot. Yamaya is Black. I liked the one above better than most goddess decks - but that part is also important to me.

@DonnaAisha Brown Yes I understand your perspective too. The creator of the deck is from South America, Colombia, so their experience of Yemayá looks the way she depicted in the card. Check out the deck Goddesses, Gods, and Guardians by Sophie Bashford. It does not have Yemaya but has Mawu-Lisa, and Oshún who looks beautiful, they got a Black artist for it.
