You put your headphones on, and you close your eyes. Your thoughts drift through your head as you listen to create a image. This image is of a beautiful rain, and every droplet is a color. A beautiful shade of blue suddenly engulfes you and you appear at the ocean. The waves gently caress you as you swim with fish that just appeared near you. A dolphin swam under you and you grabbed onto it, wanting to see how it was like, but instead the dolphin leaped into the air and became a bird. You suddenly were a angel, somehow.. You glided over a forest in a herd of insert fav bird here. The forest suddenly became darker, and darker... and suddenly blood started to rain.. the birds were now skulls with rotting flesh on them.. and then, people surrounded you and they held up a sign. 'Reality is cruel, but your mind is beautiful. Change the image' and you realized ; This was a dream. YOU can move what you want in the dream. Suddenly, you felt complete control over the area, and you changed it.. You were in the beautiful ocean again. The sun was setting, and you felt a warm hand hug you. You turned around to see who it was.. It was your crush. (GenderHe/She) was your love.. you were together watching the sunset. He/She looked at you and said.. 'I love you.. but you're going to have to wake up now.. I will see you later love.' and suddenly the image turned black.. and darker within each second.. your dreams shifted into the form of a computer, and you realized.. It was a all a dream, but one heck of a gliding dream this was. Once again, you closed your eyes. Let's hope for the best... As dreams can become reality, and even though nightmares are dreams too, people have more dreams and wishes, than nightmares and sorrow, if you choose the right choices. So grab my hand, lets walk back into reality. We have one heck of a ride ahead of us, so lets enjoy it! Let's live life to the fullest! This doesn't mean we have to do everything dangerous, but everything in our reach. Come on my friend, there are many more doors to open and even more to explore. Jess, I know this sounds weird but try to bear with me. I listen to chillstep playlists to help me sleep at night but never make it past the 3rd or 4th song before I fall asleep, so I would never heard "Ashes and Dust" until you commented on it. I was instantly enraptured- every time I listened to it I heard something new that I loved. It has become one of my cherished "inner circle" of songs. But the story doesn't end there. A girl I work with is painfully withdrawn, endlessly morose, and gloomy. Still, I could tell by her eyes that there was something artistic going on there, and I really wanted to get to _know_ her. Spiritually. I tried talking to her but it wasn't easy; she gives short answers and just stares at you when you try to converse. I decided to push through all that and decided "Ashes and Dust" was the way I was going to do it. I wrote down the name of the song and told her to KZbin it, put on headphones, turn off the lights, get comfy, and just _experience_ the song. She did. The next day she showed up to work with sparkles in her eyes. She told me she had never felt anything quite like she did the moment she heard it. That was five months ago, Jess, that you made this comment. Her and I bonded over chillstep- a genre she had never known- and our souls have been entangled ever since. I guess what I'm trying to say, Jess, is thank you. More than you can ever know. Your one innocuous comment changed my entire world.
