Great job. I played in Warwound with Damian from Sacrilege and we played this song. He played the main riff on an open A but it sounds great how you played it.

@@Yourguitarchannelsucks If I remember rightly Sacrilege tuned to C standard. I will ask Damian though. Warwound played up until the covid and we haven't picked it up again. We recorded two Sacrilege songs, one being Lifeline. Check them out they are on here.

Nice rip dude. Thanks for recognizing this important but underappreciated band. Holds up great looking back. Sweden's Misantropic (no H) reminds me a lot of them. Right in the sweet spot with their mix of d-beat thrash and thrash metal.

Couldn't agree more! Sacrilege deserves much more attention! They were also in C# all the way back then. I try to do playthroughs of bands I loved when I was growing up, and bands I feel deserved more attention.

@@Yourguitarchannelsucks first time I listen to Sacrilege is from my uncle cassette tape collections. I was about 13 year old that time. I pick up one cassette randomly and it's Sacrilege UK. My uncle tell me if this is the band is one of the best punk band from the UK that will brings me into crust punk music. And yes he tells the truth. Yes, I love technical death metal. I am a fan of many styles of metal, it would take a long time to write down all the bands and styles I like. Brutal death metal, technical death metal, melodic death metal. I like Raw black metal, as well as the over produced Hollywood style. I also love old school thrash, heavy metal and lots of punk. I also like doom metal and the list goes on and on… I do listen to a lot of technical stuff in general. I just don’t make as many videos doing more technical stuff because it takes more time than I usually have. I work full time so my time is limited. For example, a video like this one doesn’t take any time at all to learn because it is easy to play. However, when I did the Obliveon video it took me 4 weeks to learn the complete song. I have been working on some Allegaeon and Atheist but it takes way more time to learn. Eventually I’ll finish learning those. In the same time I learn lots of easy stuff that I loved when I was kid. That way I feel like I accomplish something. lol plus there is tons of great stuff that is easy to play. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.

@@brbcrow The way I learn to play songs is usually with programs such as songster or guitar pro. Sometimes I even use a Tascam riffs trainer. What I like to do the most is set the play speed at 50% and loop a single measure this way I can slowly build up my speed. I will also do quick bursts. For example, I will be playing the riff at a slow speed then I will turn the dial all the way up to 100%. I will jump back-and-forth between slow and fast. The reason I do this is because you hold your pick differently when you play it slow then when you play it fast. Anyway, this is how I basically program riffs into my head. Practice, practice,practice.

@@Yourguitarchannelsucks Yeah, I understand those methods to improve guitar playing, and I use them widely, but our guitarist don't :) He don't want to play covers even for practice and for developing different playing styles. His hands just used to playing same patterns and same notes, so it's a matter of will, not a matter of methods lack :) When he creates new riffs or new songs, they sound pretty much the same. As for me, that's criminal. Anyway, thanks for response!

@@brbcrow When I was younger I only wanted to write music because I thought if I spent time learning other peoples music than I would sound unoriginal and not develop my own sound. However, these days I really enjoy learning songs from different bands because it is very educational and it gives me a window into the minds of other guitarists. Every time I learn a new song whither it is a hard song or an easy one I learn something new and it’s lots of fun. Happy to chat with you.

Bare knuckle Warpig P-90 ( humbucker sized P-90) also known as the Pig90. It is different than the regular Warpig. By the way it is super hot. I’m using a complete set, along with cts 550k pots and a paper oil capacitor all bought direct from bare knuckle. It was expensive.
