Nice discussion!! As you show us, it's important to realize that osteoarthritis is a differential diagnosis and it's common in sacroiliac join, mainly in the anterior portion. In the posterior inferior portion can have accessory facet with osteoarthritis too. Nowadays the rheumatologists want more information and details in our reports, in order to help and give the right support to their patients! For some of the physicians, the term "sacroiliitis" in our reports, for all kinds of edema, is not helpful and healthful. Congrats!!
