We lost our beloved Miley the night before Easter to cancer. She was 13 and she never complained. She went to her bed and laid down and passed away peacefully. We rescued her at 12 weeks from a drug bust house raid and she was extremely loving and protective of our family. We miss her terribly but we will see her again. ❤️❤️

You’re probably right about not fully enclosing the crawl space. Humidity will build up so you need some ventilation to stop mould growth

Good idea to allow the air to flow! You can place vents at opposite sides of the house. That can be controlled outside of the house.

Thanks for the update on Kenji. Whatever time he will be with his family only God knows, but I see him post-surgery with more energy and instead of Kenji laying and watching over things and looking tired as he had...or the cat rubbing up against him Kenji is up and walking at a fast clip, he is barking at some perceived danger which made me chuckle...and he had a moment of quiet discussion with Jeremy which I am sure was encouraging Kenji to enjoy life and how much he is loved.

My dogs are old and I am sort of facing the same issue; the end of life. Love the truck box swimming pool. I am so glad that you have all the siding done. It is great that you have the craw space done as well. It will be great when the bathrooms are done. I know you have wanted a flushing toilet for a while. You are still a great couple and I always look forward to your video's. I am glad that you had some family time. Soon the house will be done and you can have your first fall and winter in it. Your first Thanksgiving and Christmas will be a great family time in your new house. I wish I could be there on that day when the house is officially done and bring a house warming gift.

Well sometimes the greatest rewards are the things we struggle with the most. Because if everything was easy we would have no way to gauge our success. I'm glad to hear kenji is doing better, I can emphasize on your feelings, my last dog a chow chow, I had for 17 years. So even though he is a little tired, pretty sure you'll have a few more years left in him. May again might I suggest a new addition to the family a puppy or a little older if he's up to it, dogs tend too do better when not singled. Enough said. I've learned the mind controls the body. After a divorce followed by losing my dad and my sister getting cancer I ended up sick and needing a double lung transplant. 9 years later I'm doing OK. So yes attitude has a major effect on life. Hang in there. Sorry about your Kenji
