The longest lasting most durable canvas bags we could make are explained by Dave. We call this collection Mountainback - for when your life depends on it.
We use heavy Scottish waxed canvas and wrap it around thick leather hides to give it form. The 24 oz. canvas is waxed and water resistant, meaning it can take water on the surface but not soak in. The leather is the toughest leather we could find (full-grain) and it's tumbled leather, so it's pliable and forms to your body just like the waxed canvas. We use a marine-grade UV-resistant polyester thread (the same kind used on ship sails and parachutes) so it doesn't deteriorate in the sun. The hardware is a custom stainless steel that's complete overkill, but it's part of the over-engineering that comes with all of our designs. Just like all of our full-grain leather pieces, each piece in the Mountainback Waxed Canvas Collection comes with a 100 Year Warranty.

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

Bags look great! Looks like I have to add to my collection however, I noticed the leather is not as thick as that "old bull" leather. I guess its to keep the weight down. Thanks for the video.
