In the 70’s -90’s , I was a rocker and a live concert lover, but every time Sade would come to town, I would be there. The groove and vibe she could create on a summer evening, the way she had the crowd in the palm of her hand and the angelic voice was something that cannot be put into words or adequately explained, but I’m just grateful I was part of it.

When I was young, people laughed at my taste in music. Sade is the voice that has been underestimated the most. Now I laugh at the people from back then when I still listen to Sade. At least one song by her every day for over 30 years and I calm down and feel super relaxed. Sade.... THANKS FOR YOUR MUSIC!! This voice is so unique that there will never be a second time. If you think about it, since the 80' it's been the most soulful jazz voice ever for me. It's a pity that there won't be any more concerts. Sade? All the best to you and please keep making music.....

I will go to my grave saying Sade is the MOST soulful artist of all time. I dont care. Save your BB Kings, etc. Shes got the title. Hands down. Whats telling is her body language and movements during instrumental parts of her songs. She feels the music. Shes moving not TO the music but WITH the sound. I may be one of few 26 y/o males that have her songs heavily in the rotation in my playlists. And im prideful of that. Shoutout SADE!!!!
