I’m 40 and have heard Sade all of my life growing up. There’s always been something quite mysterious about her
@naturalkinkycurlymarie74962 жыл бұрын
The fact that she's naturally sexy without even trying and knows she doesn't have to be Vulgar to be sexy. Also, the Respect she has for herself & her Privacy. Unlike the Media-attention whores _(male & female)_ who do & say some outrageous things to remain Relevant in the Media & attract Paparazzi attention.

I love her understated look... she's always kept the same sort of wonderful makeup, subtle wing eyeliner and red lips. She's got amazing skin and her outfit here is so cool and classic. I wish people dressed like that today.

Shes so classy and humble.. she finds its hard to except she is special, which makes her even more special .. so beautiful , so well spoken , so honest , so talented , so down to earth .. what more can you say about this woman.... she is an inspiration for man and women Love u Sade x

she did not need to apologize for the name Folashade. That is the most sexy name around. I would name one of my daughters that. I love the way the name sounds! Very nice to the ears
@PHlophe6 жыл бұрын
she apologized because white people in general make people feel bad about their african names. I can't see a Mairead Donkersely feel bad about her name anywhere in the world. and add to this the fact that this journalist is asking her about the difference between tropical/winyter weather when she told the world that since she age of 4 she'd not returned to nigeria lol! those things black people have to put up with.

I noticed she didn't say her first name Helen. 💜
@mistermayonaise6 жыл бұрын
Thats because she's brought up with a different name than Helen..In Nigeria nobody calls his/a child Helen.So they never used her first name.Her 'second name ' became her first name right from the start..Follasade..Adu.The plan was to stay in Nigeria.No move to England. It went differently.The name Helen was never used after that..They, and she did not mind, made it a bit shorter,Sade.Only very close friends can call her Shard...
@eeee84793 жыл бұрын
@@mistermayonaise That’s false. People in Nigeria do name their children Helen and other foreign names, but I have noticed it’s much less amongst Yorubas (her tribe).

perfect example when you're coming up and they don't realize you will later become way bigger than them and their wildest dreams... this interviewer needs the boot lmao... although i see this was the early 80s, still no excuse unless it's his 1st interview lol
@jonathandoelander61302 жыл бұрын
Yeah, early on in their careers, artists have to endure a lot of bad interviews. And the other side of it is that the artists are not all that famous or important early on. So not as much effort is put into using the best interviewers or doing adequate research beforehand.

Anony Moose she's known for being mysterious and private artist. Who can blame her?
@SmartRobot-wc2fb6 жыл бұрын
Anony Moose That's because her main long term goal was always put music first. She also has a fashion/marketing background and as her first 2 years of career were really intense with lots of interviews and famefair, she definitely decided to only allow interviews when she releases new material or is on tour...and opted for a low profile and discreet lifestyle...which successfully has enabled her to mantain her privacy!...

@@ROY-COLLEY Well,immediately held a zoom-meeting with my engineers,one agreed,one wasn't certain,and one objected ,so i had the last word..Noticing that this isn't really a good interview,asking her name and, because she's black and him thinking she came all the way of Nigeria ,(it's not),with asking her if she could handle the wet and cold in Norway , i don't see any reason to pump up the volume.It's just a silly interviewer who didn't know what to talk about ,ergo,this video is about the thoughts of Miss Adu, about this interviewer,and thoughts often comes with no sound..We have to see the humor in that,don't we...Perhaps a better sound with this one..kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3y0n4eLi7ynmtU And the performance she did in Norway,it's on my channel as well...As so many other performances and interviews....You will like it,i am certain..
