When you realize long time after the video (days, a week, or more / or rather: over time) how good it is what he actually said, perhaps not so directly answering, but giving you a direction to think, making you pay attention, it's wonderful, really helpful and opening doors. I think one of the directions (what is the best way) was essentially asking for fullfilment and correct choice when realizing the wrong way, well there is no direct answer. You could give one that sounds good, but the truth is what he said: When you put in your heart you will feel joy, when you didn't you will seek something else. Of course when you find your competence for other things that interest you, try those, if you can. There is reasons why you do stuff. Explore them. Could talk about the other questions, too...

I really like what Sadhguru has to say here, but I have a couple of thoughts. One, is that while it's possible some mental health problems are brought upon us by ourselves, I think the important discussion and the reason for therapists perhaps or getting friendly advice, is that people might feel trapped. They may know they have an issue, and know that it's hurting themselves, but they might need help to fix it or get out of that situation. So I think there is merit to talking about mental health and how we can work to improve it for ourselves and others. Second, when you talked about going to the high-level university even if you don't really care about engineering- I don't think all of these people want to be put on a pedestal for it. Some may, but I think there's a pressure, especially in higher society and people desiring to be there or to succeed in the west, to do the hardest possible thing you can do. Some parents and parts of society have this pressure where you are considered a failure or disappointment if you don't go to college, or even go to some college that's mundane and not an Ivy League school (in east coast US anyway). So I think many people push to do their absolute best to do the hardest thing they think they are capable of, just because they feel like it's just what they are supposed to do, rather than finding what career they are actually passionate about.
