Bro we have seen a lot of fake gurus in India.Because thats what a regular Indian has seen on television. TRP goes high when a man bites a dog not when a dog bites a man. Major part of Indian people haven't met a real yogi in Mattha. I would suggest every Indian to sit with a yogi who roams in jungle, his understanding of life will blow your mind. I can guarantee you that. They are not about religion, caste, creed, ethenicity, identity, they they are out there in nature to know the real nature of life. SEEKERS as they say.
@ankushs64485 жыл бұрын
@@VeerNarr Bullshit praveen. we haven't a lot of fake gurus in India, only in Indian media. That's where they blow up the 1 in a thousand where a guru is corrupt and insinuating crap after an Fir is made against one where the victim is really the extorting or blackmailing culprit.
@VeerNarr5 жыл бұрын
@Ankush I agree to what you are saying but we can't be blind to the fact that there are gurus like baba ram rahim, who was able to fool more than a million people. To be honest untill I heard Sadguru, I was quite skeptical of gurus and spiritual processes. But Sadghuru makes sense, his clarity on issues is unparalleled. And when you see even him being attacked purposefully without any proof, you start reading about things, you understand the whole design of the vicious propoganda that is being spread to malign this unique dharmic tradition by the so called seculars and lame leftists.
@ankushs64485 жыл бұрын
@@VeerNarr What i'm saying is there have been gurus of hinduism all through these years, when the invaders broke into india and since. Through the centuries of torture and murder the only reason we have hinduism is that they have kept it alive not potentially at the cost of their life, it did cost their life! so now you say 'we cannot be blind to the fact', and i say bullshit. i'm perfectly willing to be blind to fake gurus because the reality is this is 1/1000. this 'fact' of yours is something the reader assumes is relevant. is it relevant, is there an epidemic of ram rahims across india or are you just mixing counterexamples in. this is what the news is doing and you are doing it right now too. when have there ever been no criminals? when have there ever been no fake gurus? when has our body ever been 100% free of harmful bacteria? does it make you sick? only beyond a threshold. you know very clearly, without going to look it up anywhere, that india has nowhere near the criminal activity of america, the gurus are nothing like the pedophiles in the church, and the population is four times larger. it's just nonsense but the tv tries to paint a comparison. i read ur first comment again and actually noticed ur not really saying there are fake gurus but this is waht i'm saying... if it weren't for gurus (who have no fucking say on whether there are or aren't fake gurus, i mean is it a cricketer's fault if someone else on the team does matchfixing?) staying true when they were boild alive, etc we would be speaking arabic and have a koran or bible in every home and be totally at war. so if anyone is speaking hindi/english and starts complaining about there being 'fake gurus' why don't you just hit them in the face with eveyrthing u got?

His explanations are simple and to the point. That doesn’t mean he is the best meditation teacher for everybody. Each master has unique personality and your mission is to find the best teacher that suits your personality. In my case, just a single teacher wasn’t enough. So I learned about meditation & monkey mind from Mingyur, about human mind from Sadhguru, about inner being from Eckhart. Just my ten cents after long practice of meditation. And I really appreciate Sadhguru for helping me solve my life long question about unconscious mind.

@Dharmicaction5 жыл бұрын
@@TitasReal Sure he does. Sadhguru's pathway is 'Dhyana yoga". His discouragement of Jnana yoga is a concern. Both knowledge/wisdom (jnana) on vedic metaphysics, laws of karma, dharma, body koshas, ramayan, mahabharatha (which sadhguru himself read from vedic library of knowledge and wisdom) and experience (dhyana as a tool/seeking) are important. For some people experience alone is enough. But it depends on individual karma. There are other yoga pathways like karma yoga, Bakthi yoga (not blind faith), Jnana yoga (knowledge/wisdom and nithyasana experience) etc. Sarvo dharma sama bhava - all yoga paths lead to the same goal - Divine avatar Krishna in Baghavad Gita

Stereotyping is something that Sadhguru would find unproductive and divisive. Listen more carefully to what he says. You just watched a video where Sadhguru talks about the problems individual identity causes, about those who think THEY are the good people and pit themselves against others they deem inferior. Aren't you listening to what he says? If so, you must not agree with him, since you're doing exactly what he's talking about.

Seeing your comment made me realize what Sadguru alluded to. I almost did a double-take when I read your name. That's because I imagined Muslims were not allowed to read/hear about philosophical works that didn't emanate from their own ideology. I was led to believe they put everything through a filter of "haraam/halal" before venturing into anything new.

A Who Snackbar . Thank you for your comment. From a Muslim point of view, what is haram & what is halal.If Muslims do really practice their religion in the right way then why is there so much killing on this earth. Secondly are Muslims taught not to view any subject on the Internet or are you just trying to bring to my notice it is Haram, then why are Muslims glued to the phonographic on their iPhones ,iPads ,etc ??? Is this Halal???. What ever Snacker you are eating is deluding you to think that everyone who is a Muslim is connected to Haram & Halal..By the way, in your perception of life, what is Haram & what is Haram? It is all men made,all Rubbish. This religion is made to suppress the female Gender, as simple as that. My advice to you is to do some more research on the religion of Islam,thank you. Mehrunnisa 🙏🏽

Few things I recollect from this: 1) Our consciousness is dipped in memory mostly. So, we don't perceive things as they are. Current era values memory more just like previous era valued might. In the coming decades, memory will not be valued much. Human capabilities that are beyond machine's will be valued. 2) Business must benefit both parties to have long term success. Killer instinct is not a good thing. 3) Don't give a piece of your mind when troubled. It doesn't work well. 4) Our psychological baggage is too heavy. Our educational systems, religions, our society is caught up a lot in psychological world. A sense of existentialism, a sense of who we are as biological species will give a better perspective. Breathing the air that your enemy breathes out does not kill you. 5) There is no such thing as your life and my life. It is one living cosmos. This statement questions individualism, fashion and many other cultural aspects of our society.

Lots of respect for Sadhguru, I thought it would be good to share here, SADGURU means the True Guru in Sanskrit. ... The SATGURU is a title given specifically to an enlightened RISHI or SAINT whose life's purpose is to guide the initiated SISHYA on the spiritual path. (I love Indian Society's way of assigning the appropriate titles to significant Gurus. Gandhi became a MAHATMA and others are Swami, or Baba etc.) The Spiritual Path, expressed simply is the progress towards the Realization of the SELF or coming to recognize the Truth in the words AHAM BRAHMASMI. Paraphrasing from Sadhguru's words in this speech "through the path of Yoga, you consciously obliterate your Boundaries". i.e. we come to recognize that the real "YOU" and "ME" is the same as the Life Energy present in this entire Cosmos. I am taking time to make this comment and share this because, this Realization liberates all of us and once Liberated, we can handle all of Life's challenges in a much better manner.

It is very difficult for today's thinking mind to grasp what consciousness or real wisdom means. Most of the people are trying to understand, how to do consciousness. Consciousness is not something that you can do. If you attend one of the inner engineering program''s you will be able to experience it, since consciousness is a dimension beyond intellect of the mind. Thank You Sadhguru for rubbing your wisdom across the world.

I have attended inner engineering.... I still don't understand what consciousness means.... I understand it as alertness about whatever we are doing, how it is impacting our body.... Is this what it really means? 🤔
@blissfullife59115 жыл бұрын
Ajay Yadav , Good to know, you attended Inner Engineering, not sure which program you attended, If you have attended just the online version, I would suggest you take up the Shambavi Mahamudhra Kiribati class. If you have already attended Shambhavi Mahamudhra Kriya, please keep up the practices every day without a break with full involvement to the practice, I am sure you will be able to touch the dimension of consciousness. As Sadhguru says, it all depends on the physical and psychological level of an individual, but if anyone is willing and doing the necessary striving, they cannot miss it,. Millions and millions have experienced it, I am sure you will experience it one day as well. Wish you Good Luck, Thanks.

@@ajaytzar No worries, many have had to dedicate decades to experience their own consciousness. That is why Yogis are usually very old before they can guide another.

Coming from mystic school of taught, Sadhguru's explaination on consciousness fits well with Dr Joe Dispenza's. Dr Joe on the other end come from quantum physic and scientific approach. It's good to know that science and spirituality are on the same page nowdays.
@raavi.mohindar4 жыл бұрын
For years I do not really understand why people relate quantum physics to spirituality...but if they fit in then who really cares. ;-)
@KimberlyBarkdoll3 жыл бұрын
That is because science is catching up ;) They are starting to realize that what the "mystics" have been saying is true and they are finding it through they're exploration past the physical body, then into the mind, and now past the mind.
@hudson2861 Жыл бұрын
It is more like the other way around. Sadhgueu draws on teachings and traditions that are 10,000-15,000 years old. If you care to listen to Sadhguru's many other lectures you will find that he, too, is very knowledgeable in the fundamentals of modern science and technology and incorporates that knowledge into his lectures. Spirituality as you refer is what Sadhguru refers to as conscientiousness and self realization.

Obeisance to Sadhguru and thanks to Prof. Erica for humbly accepting that she and all the audience were simply 'mind blown' by their humble guest.

Now I see the difference...an intelligent person knows his knowledge is limited and therefore knows how to listen and be humble...an idiot doesn't know that he is an idiot and therefore would not listen, accept correction or defeat, and takes pride in it....This is an important guide when we have to chose a leader. Thank you, Sadghuru!

Namaskaram, Apolegetically using my critical mind, will give this session a 8/10. Though Sadhguru 🙏 touched on more number of topics, due to time limitation I felt he could not as effectectively describe each of the points he touched upon as he has done in some of the other more topic focused talks. None the less enjoyed seeing and listening to him after a long while and as always in jovial spirit.

I agree, I have listened to many of his videos and this one didn't hit. But, I don't think it is the message, I think it was the audience. They are trying to change the world, and he says, what you need to reflect on is YOU. And then when you are a conscious being, you will do right by your world.

It will never happen in america. If you watched this video and many others taken during lectures at other american universities they simply cannot form an intelligent question about what they just heard when given the chance. They for the most part are completely clueless about any of it i.e. the first guy, Harrison, who stood up @1:03 and starts off by asking if everyone can hear him and the proceeds to ask the sooooo important question, completely irrelevant and off-topic, "I see you always see you pulling on your "robe" up on your shoulder Don't you get tired of doing this?" Then the participants laughed. It was a stupid question for such any important man. Frankly it is the best example of why people are turning away from universities for a decent education. They are just too lame and too tunnel visioned, too bought off in so many ways to be effective or necessary. We have AI now. WE do not need these propped up, mediocre academics who have mostly been hand selected based on family wealth or the measure of the money they can bring to the U. Think football. And that is as close as america is going to get for a while. Just more lame, pompous juvenile dump with professors who have priorities other than educating their underlings.
