if you read Mahabharata FIRST , and think about the characters (original closest to translation) you will get more sense of deep psychology that they thought thousands years ago without implicating it as religion. Gita has been wrongly coded as bhagavat gita . IT's intricate functions of human mind > it gives a clear perception of the unseen software we call mind. Rabindra nath tagore who got the nobel prize for "gitanjali" , ACTUALLY compilation of upanishds thoughts (tagore simply translated into Bengali and called them gitanjali - but before he submitted to Nobel committee , he got translated into English by Yeats (Scottish professor ) as Tagore recognized his deficiency in English.

Oooh guys i just get it, after watching so many of his videos : the greatest thing about him is not his ability to make us understand so many things with so much clarity. Actually his real power is to make our willing to experience life stronger than our willing to understand life. This just happened to me, writing this comment. Until now, understanding was enough and i felt blessed for it. Only at that moment i realized that without experiencing i can't understand anything. So fundementally i was looking for the consequence, not the action. And probably if i experience life, understanding it becomes useless.
@abhinavsinghal10764 жыл бұрын
The last sentence just caught my attention; "If I experience life, understanding it becomes useless." In his other videos, he also talks about being "absolutely devoted to the process without thinking about the goal and good will come out of it."

My answer is always the same: "You should do yoga!" It doesn't matter if you can't touch your toes. (I know many a yogi who have never touched their toes). It doesn't matter if you're not flexible, if you're not strong, not patient, not able to sit still. Everyone starts somewhere. Most people who have a regular yoga practice started right where you will--from the beginning. They're not dancers, not gymnasts, and not "yogis." They're just people who wanted to give yoga a try. They wanted to control their breathing, move their bodies, and find even a few moments of peace in this crazy life.

What he says makes us understand the root cause of all problems in the world, if we really want to make this world a better place, we need to pay attention to how our mind functions experientially, all the people who are not able to understand him, just try to ask yourself, why? Is it your intellect or identity or memory that's coming in the way? Is it your bias or prejudice? Are you open to even try and understand what he is saying? I've watched this thrice, and Everytime I realize something different that he is saying so profoundly. If we are able to control our mind consciously then we automatically become a solution in the world instead of a problem.

Sadhguru, thank you for telling them in their face that ultimately their conferences are not going to solve anything by themselves.

but yet you don't follow anything, do you? Understanding whatever said is one thing but following it requires a whole different level of understanding which sadhguru cannot explain to his so called "secular" audience. He thinks that he could be labeled "religious fundamentalist" if he even mentions non-translatable sanskrit words like "dharma", "karma" and "reincarnation" which English does not have equivalent words for. Then what the hell did you guys understand? Verbal diarrhea

There you go... your ego creating identity from your accumulated memories and your intellect trying to protect it convincing you it is somehow superior and by feeling pride for it... one hour of that man's yapping gone to waste.
@Aerochalklate5 жыл бұрын
no you should be proud of being alive only. don’t think of sadhguru as a source of your Indian pride, he doesn’t even want you to think like that he wants you to understand that we are one. saying this goes against him

@@albinkuttamath what made u offended ? He is proud being in his religion and ur proud being in ua religion. Religion is an idea it's an identity. And brother Hinduism is not a religion it's a way of life. What sadhguru experienced is frm Hinduism... Bcoz of this practice he experienced life to the highest possible level. And Iam too a proud Indian and a proud Hindu.
@nerdshiftassociation33264 жыл бұрын
still if you proud of it means you built an identity within your nationality and it means you didnt really get what he said in general :D dont make an identity out of anything.

your ABU right now, purely from your comment, you sound like a living example of the chains of identity, ideology and exclusion leading to hate of the "other" that he mentioned. His message of extending and expanding yourself to embrace the world around you and eventually the cosmos is completely lost on you due to these chains. Hopefully someday, with all the blinkers off and the walls around you broken, you'll get it, start your journey towards it and find your inner peace.

Tolle too explains in one of his speech that... 'Oneness' been referred by these yogis are really 'meaning full' but that perception could be known only after start glimpsing that 'clear' state.... So until then...its good and fine to proceed with Tolle and he is very good too.. taking nicely in this journey !

ofcourse Sadguru "talks in circles".. Eckhart Tolle is ripping off eastern ideas all day long but hey he is white so he must be right.

@Gary Bentlage Simple, get out of "opposites". Right/wrong, good/bad, pain/pleasure. Divine avatar Krishna in Bahgavad gita calls it "Dharma" or those who practice it as "karma yogis". Live within the framework of dharma while involving in worldly activities. You will get moksha (or free from the cycle of birth and death or become one with nirguna or formless brahman) which all these gurus try to make it sound easy in the form of words but yet make it difficult to attain in practice. You would be already closer to divine if you were looking for the profound meaning or nature of the sanskrit word "dharma" which English language does not have an equivalent word. Also look for sanskrit words karma and re-incarnation which sadhguru could never mention to his "secular" audience since he feels he could be branded as a hindu fundamentalist. One more problem with Advaita practitioners like these gurus is the tendency to de-link matter from divine. Yes divine or consciousness is beyond thoughts and matter but yet divine is the source of matter. eg Ageless Sankhya darshana (darshana is a by hindu/vedic maharishi kapila says obsered (matter) cannot be perceived without the observer (divine or consciousness) in everyone and everything. it was validated by double slit quantum experiment. Some dishonest quantum physicists call it "woo woo". Point is divine or consciousness is the one which sees, listens and speaks and so-called science cannot explain any of the above basic actions or senses with a limited definition of the word "logic". Take the example of vision. When small and colorless photons enter our small 4mm sized pupil of our eyes, a three dimensional and big colorful world is visible. If we were to ask a neuro-scientist or doctor he or she would point to their eyes, lens, brain, chemicals blah blah. If you were to ask gurus like these, they would say it has nothing to do with consciousness. But thoughts, matter and this diverse universe is called as "Saguna Brahman" or divine within "space and time" according to Advaita darshana In the beginning, there was desire, which was the first seed of mind; hindu/vedic sages, having meditated in their hearts, have discovered by their wisdom the connection of the existent with the non-existent. - The Hymn of Creation, The Rig Veda
