When one is struggling in school and needs tutoring, the tutor doesn't just give you the answer to your homework questions, they help you understand the question and find the answer yourself. I saw in the comments that many people were saying he didn't answer a single question, that's because there is no universal answer, what might work for you might not work for me, and vice-versa. Only you can find the answer, others can only guide you to it. This was by far one of my favorite guests and a deep thank you to Andre for allowing this to happen.

Logan and his friend in the corner were actually trying to learn something. The two in the middle didn’t let Sadhguru talk. Right when he was gonna get deep into his answers they interrupted and asked a question to try to make Sadhguru contradict himself or try to disprove him. Everything he said was going over their heads. They are so set on their beliefs it actually stopped them from really innerstanding Sadhguru’s message.

@cdoggtotten
@cdoggtotten 2 жыл бұрын
I’m a quarter of the way through and it’s very hard to keep going. Sadhguru’s patience with minds that have not yet developed a longing nor an urge to know the truth of being, was quite masterful. They don’t yet understand that they’re in a burning house and they should not stop and get fixated on the pictures on the wall. They need to get out of the burning building and realize a deeper dimension of being beyond the ordinary ego bound life. A simple question to them such as “What are you?” Or what do you mean by “I”? “What is that?” would have hopefully penetrated the core of these young minds. We assume that we know what life is, we assume that our individual self is solid and contained in a body, we assume awareness is an ordinary (no) thing that goes unquestioned, we assume that our concepts of the world is the world as it is. We live in the world of our ideas and thoughts, not reality. To these young minds all they can see is what can “I” get out of this discussion with an enlightened master? How can I make “my” life better. We assume that the transient ego knows what’s best for this body and life than the intelligence of life itself. So when our most fundamental support structures that sustain our reality starts to crumble in the presence of a being who can carefully take it apart, the whole illusion of “knowing” for these young minds will come crashing down. And then there will be nothing more important, regardless of external circumstances, than to find the truth of BEING and what power and good that can do in the world when discovered. Because all is realized as YOU. You cannot be understood as a something, so all that’s left is the ineffable truth that can’t be put into words but colors your entire existence with its radiant light.

For god’s sake, Sadguru was not giving away life’s answers, HE WAS TEACHING YOU A WAY OF BEING! To NOT assume things you do not know, to NOT believe but to actually EXPERIENCE! To crush limiting beliefs ESPECIALLY the hard core religious people who do not know the accuracy of their own limited beliefs.

@Jules D so by your logic even God is about his own “wisdom” and teaching from his own experiences, then why question sadhguru who does the same? following a book or inscription written down by one man’s perspective and living your whole life following it is stupid (not saying God is wrong, but by your logic, God was supposedly doing the same then why listen to him?)

love the dialog between the peaks of using substances as the "crashing down the wall" effect & the pure substance of nonego thinking of Sadghuru and the substance behind that or more the transcendent thinking of being at every moment in life. But I think the point lays somewhere else. The use of some "substances" is just the way to teach the foundation of beeing in this universe through the inside, but what most people forget that there is a balance between the in- & outside in this duality, so there has to be somebody to teach the people how to build the "foundation" of a fullfilled human life to "connect" it with your inner state. And as the universe allready knew, there will be some beeings where the inner state will be that much knotted that the only way to bring it back in a pieceful state will be to give it some of its essence guided by some other beeing that knows about the laws of the universe, the mind and how it creates "human personality", because as you know sometimes its hard to change some peoples mind, isnt it so? yes or no? 😂

Sadhguru has been accused of promoting superstition and misrepresenting science. He propagates the claim, unsupported by science, that cooked food consumed during lunar eclipses depletes the human body's pranic energies. He also perpetuates numerous myths regarding clinical depression, and opposes the potential prohibition on the use of mercury in traditional Indian medicine, despite the substance's extreme toxicity. His views on the Higgs boson and alleged benefits of vibhuti have been rejected as unproven by science. Moreover, he propounds theories of water memory that are not supported by science. In addition, Sadhguru has been accused of popularising Hindutva's revisionist history of a golden Hindu past; of fundamentally misinterpreting Darwin's work as a Western appropriation of ancient Indian wisdom; of advocating for Hindu death rituals; and of claiming that Hindu Tantrics are capable of raising the dead.

@@pranamjshetty9658 I am not falling for anything, there is no hoax as he is not asking me to do or give anything to him. He is simply guiding me to look into myself, to know the boundaries we set as humans snd how they are not *always necessarily correct. I have had some amazing feelings using his guided meditation's and I certainly feel he is worth listening to, but no one should be a God that you solely believe, follow and hang on their every word. I find Sadhguru so easy to understand, so it's surprising when he isn't understood, but it makes for an interesting episode to watch..... It's much more refreshing to see people who show a lack of understanding meeting someone as they explain. Neither is smarter than the other. Mike and Logan showed great respect. George later said he was 'so angry' for this conversation

That depends on the situation, When situation demands for a right man to argue and make stupid people understand, one has to do. later in conversation the truth will explain their stance. chances are 50 perc for a stupid person to know what is right. IF no argument then the 0 perc chance and the problem of stupidity persist, It may create problem in future

First thing is, someone like Sadhguru will never get beaten down by anyone, certainly not in a discussion. Secondly, yes they are certainly ignorant about many things but there are a lot of people in the world who are far more close minded then these guys.

Came back to this cause I seen a clip of George talking about this man and I can say, Man I’m with George on this one. I seen this podcast and I think this man it’s only talking about his life experience and sharing it. A lot of people think it’s the way to think and live it’s the same as the Bible. If you want to live by the Bible go ahead but it doesn’t work for everyone just as this man preaches about many things. I’d like to say thoe something’s I he said I never heard of so it was a great point of view.

This is what happens when you send High school students to Quantum Physics class. Logan didn't squeeze Sadhguru properly. "I don't know anything" is the key of very foundation of knowing everything. This has been properly described in Indian scriptures and other great spiritual leaders had been trying to spread that in this world. We are part of a big thing and identify that big thing , integration with that big thing is actually finding own existence. I might be wrong here while describing.i would like to recommend you guys Ramakrishna Dev who was the guru of Swami Vivekananda and obviously other videos of Sadhguru.

Okay. Yea this isn’t for the majority of Logan’s audiences. But it is nice to see, assuming that Logan’s audiences are much like him in this situation, how they react. Spencer and Mac aren’t here but we see what could and how to convince or teach people who are not familiar to this kind of ideology.
