Bro From an Islamic point of view we do make heaven on Earth. Thats not something that gets you away from religion rather it makes you closer to religion. Look an animal lives on its natural place. So an example would be an elephant living in a forest but not in desert. The desert isnt the place made is for it. Humans are not naturally on this Earth. Islam says Humans are made for heaven. If you change the terrain of a certain place for a certain animal it will live there. Zoos are an example. Animals living in an urban place. We humans change our natural environment so we can live a better life. We make Heaven subconsciously on Earth because we are made for it. The desire for Humans to build so we can have ease is itself a proof that heaven exists. There is no natural habitat suitable for us naked Humans. We strive for peace as there will be peace on heaven. We strive for ease as there will be ease in heaven. We strive for things which are made for us.

@@travis6694 Thats not the damn point. He’s saying that people are constantly suffering here in hopes that they would have a better life after death. So instead of having constant expectations of going to a better place, create that better place in Earth and live everyday like your in heaven. That dosent mean you constantly indulge in pleasurable things, it means that you try to be as happy and satisfied with what you have and do good NOT because you want to go to heaven after you die but because you want to create a heaven for all those suffering here. But Abrahamic beliefs are constantly meant to create fear and guilt in you such that you always have to worry about making it to a non existent sky world.

Your questions are legitimate George and don't take this as a personal attack, but just think its not the same for everyone, you are genuinely happy before and after fame but pretty sure it might not be the same for everyone. We Hindus believe Jesus is a realised soul as well and we respect him just as much as our 'Gods' (people who walked this planet and lived a life worth respecting and replicating). Sadhguru is all about unlocking your fullest potential as a human being, not be limited to 'i am only human'. To become realised beings ourselves

Being a blind follower is good. But also one questionioning each and everything shouldnt be judged, becuz they were no where close to imposing their ideas hard on. At the end of the day we all are curious, keeping our sentiment aside, be it the boys or even Sadhguru himself should be on a common ground. The boys may come across as ignorant, naive but Sadhguru could have been more humble in his conduct too.

@Devesh Gupta Sometime we tend to be blind when we put our faith in institutions like religion. But this shall not come at a cost where you completely turn a blind eye to corrupt things happening arnd. I have come across many ppl, infact I am one of them too, where it might get a lil sensitive with my belief and practice, but I would also give myself space to introspect, not just my own understanding, but also serves same for the one on the opposite side, and their belief. I am a Christian, and I do no assert anyone to be blind in their faith if there are questions left unanswered, same goes for any religion. If I were to be in Boys's place, Sadhguru's explanation, or his way upon coming as he did in some cases, which I definitely see it as arrogance, be it Sadhguru or even a Christian speaker, I would have condoned that code of conduct. We have seen examples of gentlemen, all I would have loved to see him be more gentle. Nothing against Sadhguru, but Gaur Gopal Das got a different chill vibe, he's gentle. I, in no way want to instigate a communal angle to it, just that I'd condone just as anybody who sits at that position where one has the power to influence people and their belief.
@ramonbaglari9714
@ramonbaglari9714 3 жыл бұрын
@Devesh Gupta umm.... I guess you'd rather want to choose to say the boys were disrespectful towards him, rather than a bully. Exactly, our way of perceiving this whole scene could be very subjective, not just mine, but yours too, and I guess we both have already chose our biases. As I told I have come across gentlemen like Gaur Gopal, Ravi Zacharias, they've got a very positive output, and personality. Why should one get offended when being asked questions which one might think is a very puny one ? Isn't this an example of putting oneself at higher position, why be irritated ? There should be some amount of humility, one has practiced all these exercise and belief of self control, disregarding the mundane trends. I see Sadhguru representing India, that's what I care most about. I want a person out there who could deal with questions no matter how puny it may sound, with humility, and not that the guys had puny questions, they purely stemmed out of genuine curiosity. This is just my opinion, if there's a genuine curiosity, let's not put one in a box, calling them stupid. I would be hurt and taken back if a pastor was to speak with all knowing attitude to you or anybody else, we come from different belief and this might sometime pinch. There were times where this little tinge of all knowing attitude came through. He does know things, no denying, but let the person on the other keep their word first and then speak. Sadhguru is very chill person, that's what makes him different from others, not that I demand humility upon his way of answer, that's what makes him different. He has knowledge, sometime might be hard for a normal person to relate. Much of his talks are very philosophical orientated, anybody is bound left scratching their head. P.s Ranveer Allahbadia has brought in some amazing personalities on his podcast. Their way to deal with question is very humble. I'm used to that, and I guess maybe that's why Sadhguru came across as quite sour to me.

I see many people who understands what both sides are saying and also many that insults both parties due to their ego defeaning and closing their mind. In the end, like what sadhguru said towards the end " if you think you know how you look like when you walk vs if you think you dont know how you look like when you walk, is there a difference?" If you think you know, then you walk egoistically and confident and thus you stop learning. In the end, Sadhguru just wants us to learn to be humble as if we open ourselves and throw whatever that we know to just listen and it doesn't matter of we agree or practice whatever we heard, what's important is that you have infact, learned something.

I want to answer his first question to why we should just go. We shouldn’t just go because we need to encourage/inspire/lead people there with us. There are so many people who are lost and need someone or something to show them the light. You shouldn’t just leave this world on your choice because what if gods plan was for you to lead someone else to him but because you left too early now that person may have lost an opportunity. I don’t wanna leave everyone on this planet knowing that they will never see me again my goal is to show them what kind of person they can and need to become or be. I will not force them but I will try my absolute best to lead them to the after life where everything is so much more than what you could ever believe. If you’re reading this I love you and one day I would love to meet you. On this planet or the afterlife. If you struggle with your relationship with god set reminders on your phone to help you. Listen to him in your heart he will lead you through the best path of your life. It may not be sweet to start or finish but it’s better than anything without him.

@@mufazagrizzz3l117 It's very simple and not really that complex. When a statement or phenomenon is verifiable, demonstratable, replicable, observable, and provable is considered a FACTUAL statement or phenomenon. @@harlenkelly7331 So by that definition. The Fact that Jesus and his message has changed peoples lives for the better is a FACT as it is verifiable (through peoples testimonies which is evidence to support the factual claim), demonstrable (again through the testimonies and the evidence to support), replicable (as it happens not to one or two or even a few but to hundreds of thousands if not millions of people around the world from multiple world views and cultures - again evidence), observable is aligned with demonstrable so not sure the point you need here for evidence of a factual existence. But according to you, "Don't get emotionally attached to your beliefs, they are just that, beliefs"... I believe in many things that are facts as well, and when the truth is jeopardised I will get emotional and fight for it. So again, when YOU believe that someone loves you, don't. Men sometimes I wish I was in this podcasts because if only you guys knew a little more... if you knew a little more you could contend with the guests instead of just having your minds blown every three secound but I guess that’s the point of the podcast. To learn.

@@Good-tm3ic I would need to rewatch the video, but something that bothers me about his teaching is his level of abstraction like I get what he is saying because I've listened and studied those topics, but it's not super constructive for the new learner.
