How can He call the Purana as trash when He says Shiva Ratri is holy day? I grew up religiously christian but have always questioned everything. When I came of age to leave my parents home it was easier for me to explore my doubts and curiosities. Sadhguru was one of the first figures I listened to during this process to scratch my itch for knowledge. As I developed myself further I soon realize the same uncertainty expressed I this video. It all didn't add up and felt odd. But the message was wonderful. Follow him, watch & read him long enough and you can see it clear as day. Although for anyone who is in the same place I was in way back when... yearning to see the world in a different light has he describes.. as Sadhguru himself would say... know nothing, be nothing, come to no conclusions, bow down to everything. I've learned to listen to everything & questions everything. Because of him, his stories & teachings I feel I've become a much better human being.. greatly developing myself to think in a certain way which has allowed me to explore life in a far more beautiful manner. I am impressed by the way you researched everything and made the video very beautifully. Whether the enlightenment is true or not I am not sure but here is what I have experienced. I have been practicing Shambhavi Mahamudra kriya for 2 years now, which is an Inner Engineering practice, I am a lot happier and more peaceful now than I ever was. It isn't always the case but it creates a baseline for me so that whatever may happen I won't fall beyond that baseline, which is the best thing that could happen to me. Nope, enlightenment is knowing who exactly you are. It's a state where you realize that you are brahman. All the worldly things are an illusion. Its knowing which you will get everything in life. One should go to a sadguru(not jaggi vasudev) A sadhguru is an atma jnani who is Brahma nishta and jeevan mukta. Like sringeri Jagadgurunathar. Who is karunarasa sagara. You should do seva of that sadhguru thinking that he is none other than parameshwara himself in the human form until you get sat shishya guna. Which are 1. Nirahankara( without ego) 2. Anasuya (no jealousy on anyone) 3. Shama(keep mind under control) 4. Dama( keep body and senses under control) 5. Shraddha in guru and scriptures. 6. Samadhana. 7. Vairagya 8. Mumukshutvam( intense desire to get the brahman) After achieving these qualities you will be eligible to get enlightenment. Now Sadhguru will teach you the atma vidya. On doing shravana, manana and nidhidyasana for various janma we will get enlightenment. Krishna says in gita Aneka janma samsiddhaha tato yanti parangatim. It takes various lives and continuous effort to get enlightenment. We cannot get it like this. The so called sadhguru is fake

I went to one Yoga session after being told it was not a religious event but before the Yoga session began they started pooja of Jaggi Vasudev in the name of Guru pooja. I immediately got red flags that the Isha foundation may be some sort of a cult. I keep distance from his organisation, I still get messages asking for volunteering work and new programs, I maintain silence.
