Was fortunate to attend this talk in person in Boston. Sadhguru’s sheer presence is magical and Dr. Carr’s wisdom and knowledge along with his humility is endearing. India has had a huge tradition of Samvaad or debate and this one truly meets the standards of how two fields, science and mysticism should be conversing.

When going on summer vacation with our kids, way before cell phones! We took our watches off, we lived life according to our bodies and the sensations it gave us, timing our meal times bed times, etc. If your vacation includes timed events, you can disregard and put your watches back in! Such as Disney now with timed passes the no watch thing is counterintuitive.

Dr. Carr's is truly admirable. It's hard to stay 'true to curiosity' in academia, particularly if the truth lies in aspects which is deemed childish or nonscientific by your fellow colleagues. That said I think if one were consciously seeking or 'curious beyond inhibits' there would be no such thing as the need to take on. Because opinions or points of view don't matter in the quest of truth. You know what I mean? Dr. Carr is truly curious and doesn't care much if the truth lies in place others disregard but there is still an extremely slight inhibition, and I think it stems from his love for science. And that's lovely..He hopes his love (science) can make even the invisible, partially graspable through the academic means. And I don't think he is wrong for it. But Sadhguru says it might be necessary to reform the definitions and methodologies in academia in their pursuit cause Infinite cannot be grasped it can only be experienced at the very least appreciated.

I wish Bernard took/understood the gist - "don't try to expand physics, keep physics for things of physical nature, Science is a an overarching umbrella, keep expanding science to see (perceive, understand) things beyond physical and maybe mathematics can help in doing that".

This video saddens me a little bit. Sadhguru offered many times the blueprint of the universe to Dr Carr and the doctor didn't take it. Sadhguru asked time and time again if Dr Carr could make an equation out of his experiences and the doctor just continued asking questions back like a dazzled child ... This talk was wonderful and it was a delight to see the meeting of science and spirituality, and thank Dr Carr and Sadhguru for their insights, but this feels like a missed opportunity to change the world

Sensational Video! Very few humans in this world can hear different frequencies. You have acquired a different level of consciousness. 99.9 % of humans in this world walk around blind for they can only see what lies before them, not what lies ahead. This is why I love Hinduism. Namaskaram Sadhguru! You are a blessing to this world.

Like many other similar videos, this also helps us in understanding the difference between the intellectual circus and pangs of scientist' expression and the blissfully relaxed communion of a mystic. See the struggle and body language of marshalling the thoughts by the intellectual gymnast🎉 Perception and clarity are the only significant things in life. Rest will follow. Namaskaram.🎉🎉😊

Science and spirituality, often viewed through different lenses, converge in the exploration of the unknown. While science seeks empirical understanding, spirituality delves into the realm of meaning and interconnectedness. Together, they offer a holistic approach, acknowledging the beauty of both measurable facts and the profound mysteries that continue to inspire awe and wonder in our collective human journey.
