I wonder why you felt that can you recount what is insensitive and ridiculous. The thing that I don't agree with is when he says that he hasn't read the scriptures and all the conclusions are from his own experience. The part I do agree is you don't come to him for learning and asking questions on scriptures. This is because he is not fluent in them. He may not have read it formally like other acharyas but he has read it all right. The reason I say this is because most of the stories that he tells come from there. The stories help him put an idea into context & get an inference. This is important when you are answering questions and trying to convince people.

@vishalvaidya6065: In families who practice Sanatana Dharma, all this has been told in different words to us many times. The issue is we have decided not to pay attention to them. This is why we need a Jaggi Vasudeva to say it yet again. Unfortunately, we will agree with for the duration of the video and then go back to our old ways. Such is the nature of Maya. There are a few amongst us who see it and alter their ways others don't even try.

I learned from my friend. He was always very cool and calm..not because he had figured out everything. But because he knew what he wanted and what he was capable of. He always did his best and didn't expect anything beyond his efforts. And if he is consistently denied results for his efforts, then he either changed his expectations or changed the job. He was always ready to go back to zero and start from scratch. He was one of the coolest and calmest people I have met

Who are you talking about? Jaggi Vasudeva? He has a simple answer - he is a seeker. A seeker doesn't always know the answer but he knows that he doesn't know.
