-When you say God you are talking about the source of your creation from what you have come.
-Right now, your being and my being may be very different
but the source of this cannot be different.
-whatever you do in your life, if you do not know the very basis of who you are
it's just utter nonsense, the whole life
-you must know the pain of not knowing - then you cannot be here without knowing;
-Nothingness is the only thing which can be everywhere
-in the lap of this nothingness
-you are afraid of darkness?
-darkness means there is nothing.

as usual.. i love-love-LOVED this video with Sadhguru! i really enjoy his interactions with his audience, when he ends up chuckling about something. i just thought of a question: why does it take time until one has advanced somewhat in yoga to be told that God is Darkness??? the way Sadhguru explained it, well, it seemed to me to be a very comfortable definition! ♥❤♥

People need to come to a certain level of understanding before they can be told certain things. I guess for there to be an answer there has to be a question first. And from what little I have understood in life so far, I know it's a waste of time and energy to explain something to someone if that person isnt longing for it and isnt sincere enough. Of course I have always wondered which is the answer: my rational mind has now come to the stubborn conclusion that this source from which I came is just nothing and this thought is literally a black hole for my life, only my "soul" may give me the energy to win this horrendous and annihilating living thought I've created in my head, that's why I pray.

Some scientific clarifications for those interested: at 12:53 scientists are not capable to destroy a particule into nothing. We only can transform this particule into another form of energy(e.g. photons) by making it interacting with its anti-particle. The mentionned Kolar Goldmines experiments are aimed at detecting particles which weakly interact with matter, such as neutrinos. Also at 6:14 scientists are currently unable to find any place where there is no energy. As later mentioned in the video, (virtual)particles keep popping-up out of nothingness everywhere and constantly, so we can find energy everywhere we look.

I still couldn't understood exact meaning of 'nothingness ' because something always comes from something and not from nothing . I think nothing may be considered as something nonphysical (very subtle ) but not as total absence as nothing .

You will understand it if you look within. I was confused as well, when I heard this " nothingness" phrase. After carefully paying attention ,it all makes sense. Yes ... "Everything comes from nothing, to something then back to nothing" . You were nothing,till your parents gave birth to you, then you became something. Someday you will be become nothing. 'Nothing' means no space -time (matter/mass is the manifestation of this space-time continuum acc to General Theory of Relativity), which is defined by modern science as the Big Bang ('Shiva' is actually the singularity from which the Big Bang happened).
