I see what you are saying, but I was also talking a little bit about the extremes where people have given up on life and, sadly, have ended it. It is much easier to be devoted when you have given up on life and hold very little value on your own life. I am not saying all Devotees are like this, but merely saying that people who gotten to this point can become devoted much easier, I think. - Bryan
